WHY YOU SHOULD NOT BE AN EAGLE V

Positive Characteristics of an Eagle
  1. Swift. An eagle is swift.
  2. Soars
  3. A weight lifter. It can carry weight many times heavier
  4. Sees very far. It has acute and sharp vision.
  5. Strength. It has very strong claws and wings.
  6. Focus. An eagle can be very focused on its target.

These are very good characteristics. Remember that everything God created at the beginning was good. Which of these characteristics is a fruit of the Holy Spirit? Not one! Jesus said by their fruits you shall know them (Matt. 7:20). The question of fruit bearing was so important to Christ that when he saw a fig tree full of leaves without any fruit, he performed a destructive miracle by cursing it. We must be very careful. A lot of things that people are propagating in the name of preaching the word of God cannot take people beyond this atmospheric heaven. They are earthbound messages. I can state categorically that over seventy-five percent of messages preached today (Sunday) were centered on earthbound issues.

I have never seen the power of God move anywhere the eagle or lion is celebrated.

Negative Characteristics of an Eagle
  1. An eagle is very selfish.
  2. Very vicious.
  3. An eagle is a thief.
  4. An eagle is a killer
  5. An eagle is a devourer
  6. An eagle is a blood sucker. The difference between an eagle and a vulture is that a vulture feeds on rotten carcass while an eagle feeds on fresh one with blood. So, what is the difference between an eagle and a vampire?
  7. An eagle is a destroyer.
Why you should not be an eagle

1. An eagle is an unclean beast.

“And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray.”

Leviticus 11:13, KJV

God cannot countradict his word.

“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death”.

Revelations 21:8, KJV
