If there is anything we must boast of, it is what God is doing in our lives. Christians are not doing this enough, they are so timid, they are not celebrating God the way they should. It is painful that the people who celebrate Christmas the most are unbelievers and idolaters. You can’t win the world by being one with them, there is no meeting place between light and darkness. We are people who are called out to show forth the glory of God; to demonstrate that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever (Heb 13:8). We are supposed to be healing agents in a sick world.
Any student of prophecy will tell you that things are not going to get better in the world. As a matter of fact, things will get worse as we advance into the end times. However, things will get better for those who know their God. This is the time that the prophecy in Dan. 11:32 shall be fulfilled
“And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he (the antichrist) corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.”Daniel 11:32, KJV
The spirit of the antichrist is already at work; it is not only at work but at war, fiercely fighting and trying to make believers (the elect) submit to nonsense.
Pray –
- Father, make it impossible for me to submit to nonsense. Make it impossible for me to submit to the antics of the antichrist in the name of Jesus.
- Make it impossible for me to be intimidated. Make it impossible for me to be corrupted by flatteries in Jesus’ name.
This first part of this prophecy is already being fulfilled. The revealed will of God, the compendium of life, the Bible is the covenant. It is God’s prescription for a successful life. But those who turn away from it will be corrupted by lust; lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, pride of life, the same things that corrupted Adam in the Garden of Eden and the same thing that Jesus overcame. How was Jesus able to overcome? “It is written”. The word of God is the rod of Moses that will swallow up every magician’s rod. We must put that word to use and keep the enemy where he rightly belongs.
The second part which is quoted more is interesting. “Those that do know their God shall be strong and they shall do exploits.” They shall be strong because of their connection to God. They shall be strong because they are not dealing treacherously with the covenant. They shall be strong because have digested the word of God and the word strengthens them, they align with the word. They are not partial in obedience. They have scented heaven. Heaven is their focus. They are God chasers.
They are people of integrity. They are sanctified. They are not ashamed of the gospel of God. When they move, heaven backs them up to succeed. Heaven protects and provides for them. Heavens ensures that everything created collaborate to ensure that they succeed. They are backed up by heaven. They are not chasers of signs are wonders, they are God chasers but signs and wonders follow them.
They are not success chasers; they only align with the purposive will of God for their destiny and so success chase them. They don’t chase money, they chase God and so they have gold like dust. They cannot be exploited. They are tuned to the frequency of heaven 247.
They live a purposeful life. They have seen the divine blueprint for their destiny and are ready to align with it and fulfil it. That is success. They don’t spend their lives in futile accumulations. They know that sons go for inheritance so they are sons because they are led by the Holy Spirit. Children go for toys.
Pray –
- Lord, make it impossible for me to submit to any nonsense. Make it impossible for me to deal treacherously with your word. Grant me the grace to be complete in obedience to the leading and promptings of the Holy Spirit.
