“Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.”Matthew 5:23-24, KJV
Meditate on this. If this scripture was read during service in various Churches today, I believe that the offering level will drop by nothing less than ninety percent. The Church where I gave my life to Christ would not take any offering except this scripture was read. We were prepared to worship God in open air; no matter the weather condition.
If you study Dan. 12:4, you will discover that prophecy has gone far,
“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”Daniel 12:4, KJV
The gospel is being propagated through the social media and breaking the distance barrier. When we gave our lives to Christ the song we used to sing then was, “Are you ready, Jesus is coming again”. Even if you were sleeping, this song would sink in. It conditioned our morality, and our relationship with God. It made us to tremble at God’s presence, it made us conscious of the fact that we are not landlords here but only pilgrims. It made us live ready.
The next agenda in God’s calendar is the rapture of the true Church. Jesus is coming for his saints. Are you ready? If it happens now, will you fly?
Pray –
- Lord, do not allow the rapture to take me unawares. After having a wonderful fellowship with you here, Lord, I want it to continue. Is there anything that can stop me? Is there anything I am holding onto? Is there any idol in my heart? Father, I am ready to throw it away so that I can enthrone you and celebrate you.
- I want to make heaven at last. Where you are is where I want to be. Jesus, you have gone to prepare a place for me, please prepare me for that place and help me to live with you.
- Guide me by the skillfulness of your hand to walk hand in hand with you so that your purpose will be fulfilled in my life.
- Help me to make heaven at last. May I not pursue money and miss you. May I not pursue vanity and miss you. Make me a God chaser all my life and let the things that the world seek begin to seek me in the mighty name of Jesus.
