Gold, silver and precious stone represents the righteousness of God, the redemptive wisdom of God the holiness of God. Holiness is very important. Hay, wood, and stubble represent pride of redemption, pride of satisfaction, pride of revelation. That is why the prescription of Jesus in Luke 9:23 still remains the greatest ever.
“And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.”Luke 9:23, KJV
Never depart from the cross. The Church is weak because she threw away the cross and relegated it to Good Friday. It is at the cross that you have every Christian virtue encapsulated. The cross is the greatest display of grace, the greatest display of worship, the greatest display of submission, the greatest display of the glory of God, the greatest display of the power of the almighty, righteousness and so on.
The only place where you can mortify the flesh and destroy carnality is at the cross. The cross is the greatest symbol of dominion for this age. The cross is God’s prescription for every man’s malady. The first messianic prophecy in Gen. 3:15 that the seed of the woman would bruise the head of the snake was fulfilled on the cross.
At the cross, the blood of Christ was shed at vital places for dominion over sin, self, satan, sickness, disease, death, hell, poverty, scarcity and lack. These are the classifications of everything that came as a result of the fall of man. One sacrifice atoned for everything that was why Jesus said, “it is finished” (John 19:30). My ticket for the rapture is what Jesus accomplished for me on the cross. All I need do is to take up the cross, I can’t miss the way.

For my salvation, on the cross you died, Thank you, Jesus, My Lord who rose up from the dead, Thank you for taking care of me. Take up the cross. Celebrate Jesus.

- Thank you Jesus for taking care of me. Thank you for paying the debt I could not pay. Thank you for taking me out of the slave market where I was lost and on the way to hell. You came and paid the complete price with your life and your blood and took me out of that market and set me free. Thank you so much, I give you all the glory. I celebrate you. Blessed by your precious name. I lift up your banner. I declare your glory.
- I declare that through your death, burial and resurrection, all my sins are forgiven. My name is written in the book of life. I have access to all the covenant rights, blessings and privileges.
- I have dominion over sin, self, satan and all his works, all his wiles, schemes, machinations, manipulations, principalities, powers and rulers of darkness of this world.
- I have dominion over sickness, disease, death and hell.
- I have dominion over poverty, scarcity and lack.
- I have dominion over rejection, witchcraft, idolatry. I have dominion over occultism, Satanism. I have comprehensive dominion over darkness and over every work of darkness. I have comprehensive dominion over every agent of darkness.
- I have comprehensive dominion over oppression, rejection, affliction, seduction, obstruction, hindrances.
- I have dominion over anything that defiles and damns. I have dominion over stagnation, delay, discouragement. I reign in the midst of my foes.
- Thank you Jesus. I lift up your banner. I display your victory and appropriate your victory. I declare that your victory is my victory. Take absolute control of everything that concerns me.
- As I walk into the coming year, Lord, guide me by the skillfulness of your hand. I lift up your banner. I exalt your name. I lift up your cross.
- Thank you Jesus for the crushing power of your cross and by this crushing power, I declare every curse broken, every evil covenant broken. Every evil sacrifice destroyed, every satanic agenda, nullified.
