There are challenges that have refused to let you go, but by the mercies of God and by the thunder of God’s power, none of such challenges will follow you through next month. Thus far they come, they go no further. A time comes when you must confront the things that do not want you to be all that God wants you to be.
When you align with heaven with respect to the blueprint of God for your destiny, heaven will back you up to succeed. Everything created will back you up. The resources of heaven will be at your disposal. The glory of God will be manifest in your life. The thunder of God’s power will be released against the stubborn challenges. Whatever challenges you challenges God because your life is hid with Christ in God.
God does not shy away from challenges and you don’t solve any problem by avoiding it. You need not be diplomatic because there is no diplomacy in heaven, you confront issues. God is a problem solver. God operates in the highest because he is the most high. That is where we should learn to operate from; learn to sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. We must learn to ascend so that every other thing will be under our feet. That is where I want to live for the rest of my life.
There was a problem in heaven; the problem of rebellion. Lucifer, the worship leader rebelled, he wanted to usurp the authority of heaven, he wanted to be like God. This he plotted in his heart. His heart deceived him. That is why you must be careful of what you habour in your heart. He declared the five “I wills” in Isaiah 14:13-14, one of which is I will be like the most high. Be satisfied with who God has made you. Be all that he has made you to be. There is no better you out there than you. Stay on your lane and finish there. That is the true meaning of success. Being all what God wants you to be, doing all he wants you to do and doing it the way he wants you to do it. These are basic things but when people miss them, they will keep chasing shadows.
One of the things that fallen man acquired in Eden is the diseased perception of reality incapable of making right decisions. This year, you will be all that God wants you to be. You will be at the right place; the place where God wants you to be. You will not be dislocated. Your heart will not deceive you. Satan will not deceive you. Your friends will not deceive you. Fashion designers will not deceive you. Evil association will not deceive you, your environment will not deceive you in the mighty name of Jesus. The way not to be deceived is to align your will with the word of God, the revealed will of God.
A song writer said, “teach me from my heart to say, thy will be done”. That means submitting to the will of God. Fallen man finds it difficult to submit, people are always trying to be who they are not, always pursuing something without God. That is the nature of fallen man.
God confronted the problem in the heavenly environment (which is full of worship) from the worship leader himself. Satan is interested in your worship. Pride is nothing but the idolatry of self. Idolatry is nothing but the perversion of worship. God judged the rebellion – “satan, because you have conceived this in your heart, you are no longer fit to stay here.” God cast him out. God does not deal lightly with pride.
Pride progresses to produce rebellion. Every pride has an element of ignorance because there is nothing you have that you were not given, if given, why behave as if you are the giver? Satan was a created being, a creature. Wherever you find pride, you will see distortion. You cannot help a prideful person; he always feels that he is the one helping you. Pride distorts reason. When the devil plants the seed of perversion, it affects every other thing.
PRAY –
- Dear Heavenly Father, grant me grace from my heart to say “let your perfect will be established in my life.” Make it impossible for any trace of pride to be found in my heart.
