For every stubborn challenge, there is a strategy that makes it cheap. There is a winning strategy which is in the hands of God. It may not make sense to you, just do it. Study the story of Naaman the leper (2 Kg. 5:1-17). He was the commander of the Syrian army, a very powerful man but he had leprosy. When he got to the land of Israel to see Elisha for his healing, the prophet did not pray for him or lay hands on him as he expected. Instead, Elisha sent his servant to tell him to go and bathe in river Jordan seven times. Naaman took offence. The pride and rebellion in him arose. The snake in the garden of his heart arose and he was furious.
The scripture in Isa. 59:19 says, when the enemy shall come like a flood, the spirit of God will raise a standard. If you are not properly connected to the Holy Spirit, who will raise the standard on your behalf? The flood strategy of the devil is real; the devil himself is a strategist. The only master strategist that checkmated him is our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. That is why it is through him that we shall do valiantly (Psalm 60:12).
God is able to do exceedingly abundantly beyond our expectation but it is only through his power that works through us (Eph. 3:20). The problem is never with God neither is it with his anointed servant who lives a pure life. No matter the anointing that flows in a prayer meeting, if you are not properly connected, you will not be impacted. This is serious.
You can reduce the anointing to zero and go back home the way you came and eventually end up in places where you will be deceived. Let the Holy Spirit arise for you and raise a standard against the flood and let the adversary fear the name of Lord because of you from the rising of the sun to the going down of the same.
Receive the dread anointing. It takes fire to break into the enemy’s territory and take back what belongs to you and keep the wild beasts where they rightly belong. It is the roasting anointing, you burn them to ashes. When you call down fire, they will run! The world is being taken over by demonic powers because the Church is not doing what she ought to be doing.
In spite of the authority that God has given us; snakes – pythons and anacondas have taken over and are now swallowing nations. What is the Church doing? People read the Bible selectively; they read with the intent of what to get.
There are technical dimensions to the word of God, for instance, the Bible says that it is those who are willing and obedient that will eat the good of the land (Isa. 1:19). Mathematically, this means, willingness plus obedience is equal to good of the land (willingness + obedience = Good of the land). You must be willing. If you are not submissive to the will of God, if you are still struggling with simple submission, you have a problem. People are not willing, they are not obedient yet they want the good of the land. These are miracle seekers, always moving from place to place seeking for miracles.
Pray –
- Lord, grant me the dread anointing and let me carry so much of it that the enemy will see me and run. Let the breath from my nostrils slay the wicked ten thousand kilometers away. Anywhere I appear, let the wicked bow in the name of Jesus.
- Let the fire of your presence devour their weapons. Make the weapons of our adversaries useless in their hands and make them fail in everything they do in the name of Jesus. Let your judgment fire visit all their places.
- Holy Spirit, raise your standard against the machinations of the kingdom of darkness in my life, in my family, in my business in the name of Jesus. Holy Spirit divine, raise your standard against the hardship in this land and against wickedness of the wicked in the name of Jesus.
- Raise your standard against witchcraft oppression. Holy Spirit divine, raise your standard against the powers fighting against your purpose for my destiny. Arise against the forces fighting against your purpose for my family. Arise against the forces fighting against your purpose for Holy Ghost Fellowship International. Arise against the forces unleashed against us in this nation in the name of Jesus.
- Quicken your Church, O God, and let there be revival in the east, west, north and south in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Rectify anything that is wrong in your Church today in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Anything that makes you sad, Lord, wipe it out in the name of Jesus.
