Religious Covenants – those who go from place to place seeking for people to see for them enter into this covenant. At a time when you are supposed to be a demon chaser and chasing out demons from people, you go to people from whom you should be casting out devils to divine for you. Those people use familiar spirits to ‘see’ for you, by so doing you get registered in their record. This is one of the ways by which people get trapped. One of the wisest sayings from the rector of the theological seminary I attended is, if you see any ministry which starts today and within a short time, it has pulled a lot of crowd, check it, something is wrong. He went further to say that if you plant an orange tree today and the next day you see a ripe fruit on it, check it, there is a maggot in it.
When king Saul was still in his right mind, he banished witches out of Israel, but towards the end of his life, he ended up in the coven of the witch at Endor to ‘see’ for him because his heavens were closed. When God no longer speaks to you because your heavens are closed, you now decide to go to a “prophet” to “see” for you is a sign you have backslidden.
A lot of people don’t understand the role of a true prophet. A true prophet is an intercessor, not only foretelling but forthtelling. What is the spirit of prophecy? When you go to such places, you have enrolled in their register; you have come under the anointing of familiar spirits.
Anything that is offered without the precious Holy Spirit as the ruling or leading spirit has no value. If it is not the Holy Spirit, you have no business being there. The fact that these prophets ‘see’ does not mean that the Holy Spirit is involved. The witch of Endor actually saw what was about to befall king Saul but was she able to stop it? How did king Saul end?
PRAYER
- Father, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, do not allow me to go the way of Saul. Make it impossible for me to go the way of Saul. Rescue me from putting the wrong foot forward and from seeking help from where help does not come.
- I use the blood of Jesus Christ, to nullify, cancel, and break every evil religious covenant I have ever entered into or that was entered into on my behalf by whosoever at whatsoever time of my life. I use the blood of Jesus Christ to remove my name from every evil register in the name of Jesus.
- I call forth into manifestation, all my blessings that have been tampered with as result of evil agreements in the mighty name of Jesus.
- Let the blood of Jesus speak for me, let the everlasting covenant signed with the blood of Jesus avail for me and every member of my family in all ramifications.
- I declare myself totally liberated from the priesthood of idolatry and I enter into the priesthood of Melchizedek the everlasting priesthood. I am a royal priesthood, a holy and peculiar person.
- My life is hid with Christ in God. My destiny is secured in Christ and in Christ alone in the name of Jesus.
- I raise the cross of Christ against any form of retaliatory attack. I renounce, in all its entirety, every claim of idolatry over me and over my destiny and over my family.
- I command full restoration of whatever idolatry has tampered with or stolen in my life. I call forth every blessing that has been delayed or hijacked or kidnapped or diverted by idolatry in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
