The season after Easter is:
2. This is a season of intense intercession.
The Church must arise and pray and say enough is enough. Until you arise, you cannot shine. You don’t win by wishing the battle away, you win by confronting it head on; you don’t wish it away, you confront it in the place of prayer. Prayer is – striking the winning blow. Prayer is – restructuring the spiritual environment. Prayer is – deprogramming every program of hell. Prayer is – spiritual programming that is why the devil trembles when the weakest Christian prays. A little prayer, little power. Much prayer, much power!
God moves when his Church prays. When God arises, he will touch the mountains and they will melt.
There are lots of ‘Herods’ all over the world vexing the Church because the necessary prayers are not being made. This is the time for spiritual intercession, intense not just ordinary. Jesus gave a parable in Luke 18 that men ought always to pray and not to faint. A man of God once said that the opposite of not praying is fainting; so anyone who is not prayerful has already fainted. The enemy will come and score goals against him without his knowledge. Who takes charge of the realm of the spirit? Who controls the realm? It is time to break into the enemy territory and take back what he has stolen. He is a thief.
The world is the way it is today because the church is no longer praying the way it ought to; it is a talking Church busy doing other things. Where was the Church when Apostle James was beheaded? They were busy sharing food! When the enemy arose again like a roaring lion, the Church prayed. Prayer is the seed you need to plant for divine intervention. Prayer precipitates the rain. Prayer compels heaven to act. Who can withstand you when God decides to be on your side? There was something we used to do when we were growing up; whenever a bully starts harassing us, we would run to any adult around for refuge, we would fly to the patronage of that adult who would chase the bully away. Learn to flee into the hands of the almighty. Jesus has done a lot for us, no power should be able to mess you up or mesmerize you. All the hands that are stretched to vex you shall wither in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
