The Christian foundation is deep.
“For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”1 Corinthians 3:11, KJV
If the children of God will come to terms with what they have in Christ, if the children of God will realize who they are in Christ, it will give them a measure of stability and they will stop running helter skelter for what was never lost. What gives that stability? Understanding! Understanding of what God has done for his children. May you appreciate this in Jesus name.
Every time you spend running helter skelter is a waste; waste of energy, waste of resources and waste of time. There is a wise saying that the loss of gold is much, the loss of time is more, but the loss of honour is such that no one can restore. So, it is important that we allow the word of God to produce deep transformation in us. It is as you allow the word to work in you that it will produce.
God is not going to force his wisdom on you, he has given us the will; your will is your deciding self, your right to choose. God does not violate that right. It is not in his nature to do that. It is part of his love for man that he made man after his own image after his likeness to be able to choose between right and wrong, to take decisions. That, however, is the greatest problem of man – not making right decisions.
Every decision that is not in line with the purpose of God or not in line with the will of God is a wrong decision and may lead to tragedy. When God gives us his word, he expects us to know that the instructions he gives us are for our good, given to us out of his love for us. They are for our ultimate benefit so that we can have comprehensive success. From the depths of his love, he gives this to his children that he loves so much and wants the best for. I pray that going forward, you will not put the wrong foot forward in the mighty name of Jesus. You will no longer make wrong decisions in Jesus name.
Pray –
- Lord, enlighten my understanding. Give me the right mind. Help me and grant me the humility to align with your will so that I may choose right in all circumstances.
- Make it impossible for me to put the wrong foot forward. Grant me the grace to live the rest of my life in alignment with your purposive will in every facet of my life in the name of Jesus.
