4. Unbelief CONT’D
The word, “believeth” means someone who has made the habit of believing. Belief must become part and parcel of you. Don’t just believe today and then you stop believing. A sister committed a blunder and was later diagnosed with HIV (AIDS). After rebuking her, I started counselling her but after a while she stopped coming. Some years later, she resurfaced but by that time, the spirit of death was all over her. We started praying for her, the spirit was cast out and to the glory of God, she was miraculously healed. She was completely transformed and healthy. She was of age to get married and was trusting God for a life partner. One day, she came to my office and was just complaining about not being married. I rebuked her and asked her – “can you not trust God who healed you of HIV (AIDS) to do this miracle for you?” I was taken aback by her response. She said “how am I even sure I had HIV in the first place?”. This is someone who conducted series of tests confirming her HIV positive and was placed on medication before she got healed miraculously. Not long after that, there was a relapse, the sickness came back forcefully. We need to be careful. A lot of people use their mouth to destroy their testimony, to destroy their miracles. They use their mouth to cancel all their efforts. Don’t ever make a confession of unbelief because out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks (Matt. 12:34). Any miracle that does not make you to fall in love with God is not secure.
5. Wrong confession.
Avoid wrong confession.
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”Proverbs 18:21, KJV
Whatever you say, you activate and that is what you will have. A lot of people are so negative in their confessions. If you make a wrong confession, demon will run with it and implement it. However, if you make the right confession (the word of God), angels will take it and run with it. Pray the word of God. This is one of the exercises you must do daily. Pray the word of God, if you do, you cannot pray amiss. The word of God is the will of God revealed. Confession goes before possession. Confession places the miracle before you. Your confession is a bold declaration of faith. “Though the giants may be on my way to hinder, God will surely give me victory”. That is the confession of anyone who is ready to overcome. Those who see giants will be defeated. When you see giants, you get intimidated and before long you will start deifying the problem. That is the problem of those who magnify their problems. You are not supposed to bow before any mountain; you are supposed to “say” to the mountain. If you continue to “say” with no unbelief in your heart, you will have what you say. This has produced a lot of miracles in my personal life. Any time the devil tries to throw things at me, I pray, dissolve and disappear. The problem will dissolve and disappear because the command is rooted in the word of God. It is not your business to think about how it is going to happen. What is the mountain before you right now? Is it mountain of barrenness, or delay, sickness or disease, rejection or disappointment at the edge of miracle? Is it the mountain of bills, poverty, scarcity and lack? Is it the mountain of diminishing of resources? Say to that mountain right now, dissolve and disappear in Jesus name.
Pray –
- Every mountain of difficulty (mention them one after the other), dissolve and disappear in Jesus name!
