6. Wrong association.
If you really want to experience the wonders of God, if you want to bid waste permanent goodbye, you need to disconnect from every wrong association. There are certain people that must not be connected with you. There are certain people you should not tag along with if you want to go far. Human beings are like elevators; they either take you up or take you down. Anyone that enters your world either takes you up or pulls you down.
“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”Psalm 1:1-3, KJV
The New Living Translation concludes the Psalm this way, “For the LORD watches over the path of the godly, but the path of the wicked leads to destruction” (verse 6).
7. You should say goodbye to stinginess if you don’t want to see waste.
“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”Luke 6:38, KJV
The God we serve is a generous God.
“The liberal soul shall be made fat; And he that watereth shall be watered also himself”Proverbs 11:25, KJV
Stinginess is not one of the seals of Jehovah, it is one of the seals of Lucifer and he knows how to attenuate resources. He is a limiter. But wherever you see God, there is abundance. Jesus came that we may have life and have it more abundantly. The resources of God will not diminish in your hands anymore in the mighty name of Jesus. I have noticed that those who become billionaires are not wasteful; they know how to channel resources into production and it begins to recycle and multiply itself over and over. You must cut every waste. God is not a waster. God can be generous but he is never wasteful.
