After praying the last prayer point from the previous post, make sure that you don’t get entangled again in any form of idolatry. Idolatry is a very wicked and very aggressive phenomenon. The demons are very well entrenched and they never let go. Anyone who is empty is a candidate for kidnap by the demons of idolatry. They kidnap people and they have their evangelists all over the place. They propagate and captivate. They capture and before long, they kill and the person will go straight to hell.
Idolatry is one of the surest paths to hell; it is one of the gates of hell and that is why the devil uses it a lot. If he fails to capture people through the primitive idolatry, he will resort to the modern day idolatry. Every idolater is a candidate for hell fire and that is why as long as you are here on earth, you must fight especially in a very idolatrous environment.
In the past when people seek idolatry, they go to shrines but today, you need not go to any shrine before you find idolatry. You can find it in the biggest cathedral. You, therefore, need to be very discerning. You need the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth to continue to speak for you and help you. If you are not led by the Holy Spirit, you will be misguided and be led by the lust of the flesh, lust of the eye and pride of life. These lusts definitely propel people to the wrong direction, the direction of idolatry. You must therefore pray this renunciation prayer regularly.
After renunciation, ensure that you burn the bridge. If you have any relic, burn it. A lot of people hold their gods with one hand and with the other hand, they are holding the chaplet and praying. They expect the God of heaven, the thrice holy God to endorse them. Some of them even embark on prayer and fasting. The Bible says “through knowledge shall the just be delivered” (Prov. 11:9). The Bible also says, “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). We shall not be entrapped in the name of Jesus.
Pray:
- That you will not be captured, captivated or contaminated by the wicked spirits of idolatry ravaging the world especially African nations in the name of Jesus.
- Let the blood of Jesus Christ separate us forever from idolatry in whatever way it manifests, be it the modern day idolatry or the primitive idolatry, any form of it or even the idolatry of self which is pride in the name of Jesus. May no trace of it be found in us in Jesus name.
- I break every fetter in Jesus name and declare my total liberation. I cannot be bound in Jesus name. I cannot be fettered in Jesus name. I cannot be rejected, I am accepted in the beloved, therefore goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life in the name of Jesus.
- Any where they summon me for evil, let the thunder of God’s power reply and destroy them, totally eliminate the evil altars and the summoners. None of them shall escape in the name of Jesus. They shall be ashes under our feet.
- It is written, touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm. Those that rise against us must fall for our sake. All our adversaries must go into captivity in Jesus name.
