As children of God, we know that Jesus was not born on the 25th of December, the day that the world celebrates the birth of Christ, but we celebrate Christ, we celebrate Christ of the Christmas every day. We celebrate him:
- by living for him
- by obeying his word
- by continuing the work he left in our hands as extensions of his hand here on earth; we are enforcers of righteousness
- by seeking to do the will of the Father as he did
- by depending solely on the Father (divine dependence)
- through universal benevolence; being healing agents in a sick world
Pray –
- Thank you so much Jesus Christ. We celebrate you, the Prince of peace, Counsellor, mighty God, the Lord of Hosts, the Lord strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle. He is our Rock, the strength of our lives.
- Jesus, we celebrate you, our blessed hope, lively hope, mediator of the new covenant, mediator of a better covenant, saviour of our soul, our redeemer, sanctifier, justifier, glorifier, our portion, our propitiation, our atonement, our Passover. Blessed be your holy name. Our eternal high priest, our bridegroom.
- Praise him. Give him all the glory. In him, we live and move and have our being. He is our guaranteed ticket for the rapture. Appreciate him, he is our intercessor. Blessed be your name O God. You are worthy to be magnified, worthy to be praised, worthy to be glorified, worthy to be adored, worthy to be celebrated.
- Thank you ancient of days, blessed be your name. May your name be magnified. May your name be praised. May your name be adored. May your name be glorified. Thank you Jesus Christ, Son of the living God.
- You are our Rock, our deliverer, our healer, blessed be your precious name. You are the rock of our protection, the rock of our preservation, the rock of our provision, the rock of our progression, you are the rock of our perfection, you are the rock of our promise. In you we live and move and have our being. Thank you, eternal most high God. Ancient of days. We give you glory.
- Thank you Jesus, our fortress, our strong tower, our shield, our guide, the essence and substance of our living.
- You are our King. May your name be magnified. We enthrone you Lord of our souls. We give you all the glory and honour and praise in Jesus mighty name we pray.
- Father, I empty myself, body, soul, spirit, my mind, my will, my emotion, my initiative, my personality of anything that would hinder, anything that that will make my prayer not to fly, any sin, any transgression, any iniquity, any obstacle, Father, please have mercy. Cleanse, purge, purify, wash, sanctify. Make me holy, pure and acceptable unto you in the name of Jesus
- Have mercy unto us according to your love and your kindness, according unto the multitude of your tender mercy, please blot out all our transgressions and wash us thoroughly from every sin.
- Purge us and make us holy and acceptable unto you in the name of Jesus. Search the reins of our hearts; if there be anything you find that makes you sad, please wipe it away in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
- Let the words of our mouth and the meditations of our heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, in the name of Jesus. Thank you everlasting Father in Jesus name.
