Daily we take decisions. When you commute daily, you take a decision to surrender the control of the trip you are making to the driver of the vehicle you boarded. You don’t know the state of mind of the driver, you don’t know how well he drives but you believe that he will take you to your destination safely. May you not surrender your will to a person who will destroy you in the mighty name of Jesus.
Pray –
- Father, make it impossible for me to surrender, to yield my will to someone who will mislead or misdirect me or to somebody who will misguide me in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
- Thank you for sending your Son who is the way. Lord, I unite my will with the will of your Son, Jesus Christ. I believe in him and I declare that my identity in him is restored in the name of Jesus.
- In him, I live and move and have my being. Through him, I shall make it to the promised land in the mighty name of Jesus.
- I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God. He died for me, he rose from the dead. I receive the grace to walk hand in hand with him so that your purpose will be fulfilled in my life.
- Father, make it impossible for me to miss your mark in holiness, in righteousness and in your wisdom.
- Supernaturally empower me, O God, to continue to walk with you.
- Guide me by the skillfulness of your hand. Holy Spirit, be my guide. Be my helper. Be my enabler. Be my strength. Be my strengthener. Be my counsellor. Be my intercessor. Be my shield. Lead me. Fill me to overflowing.
- Make it impossible for me to put the wrong foot forward. May I never unite my will to the will of a pervert in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
- I stand against every plan of the devil to manipulate my destiny contrary to the will of God.
If you don’t know how to say No, you will say Yes to nonsense. This is how it starts. You have yielded, you are in agreement when you do. If Adam knew how to say No, the world will not be upside down today. If the Church knew how to say No, the world will not be upside down today. Many people want to do what is politically expedient but spiritually wrong. It is better to be spiritually right and politically wrong than to be spiritually wrong and politically right. Man finds it difficult to say No because the nature of Adam is still active in man. When you say the sinners’ prayer, you have just enrolled, it is not graduation. There has to be matriculation, you must take courses which you must pass. Are you growing in the Lord?
