If thou return.
“If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles.”Job 22:23, KJV
It is only if you return; you cannot force it on anybody. You can’t throw it at anybody. It is a personal decision. It takes a personal decision to walk with God. The Bible is a book of ‘ifs’, it is a book of decisions. It takes taking quality decision to serve God. You don’t serve God according to your own terms; that is why no ‘lion’ can be a good disciple of Jesus Christ.
Every lion is self-willed. A lion that is raised in the Church is not different from the one that is reared in the zoo; he will still devour. Give money to a ‘lion’ to take to the bank, he will become the bank. A lion is a thief, a devourer, a killer, and a destroyer. He cannot play by the rules. The Bible says in Prov. 14:34, righteousness exalts a nation, can you find righteousness in a ‘lion’?
“Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.”Psalm 91:13, KJV
This is a command. Today, when people want to animate dominion, they use the face of a lion. Some of the Churches that started with the right models are also caught in this web. Where did this error come from? Unfortunately, error has a way of going viral because it appeals to the unregenerated mind of man. The moment they call someone a lion, he loses his senses.
Meekness is not synonymous with weakness. Meekness is consolidated power under the control of the Holy Spirit; power that is ceded to the lordship of the Holy Spirit. When can we start producing such people? In the Lamb, you will find the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit typified. No Church advertises the Lamb. Today, a lot of people go into ministry for what to get and not for what to give. Something has gone wrong. Meanwhile, when you talk about the blood of Jesus, you are referring to the blood of extreme sacrifice.
You can’t force anyone to do the will of God. It is only the wise that know how to submit their will to the will of God, like the pattern Son, Jesus Christ.
“Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.”John 4:34, KJV
That is how to align. There was a time when Jesus’ will wanted to clash with the will of the Father in the garden of Gethsemane. Jesus quickly returned and said, “nevertheless thy will be done” (Luke 22:42). At that moment, heaven responded by sending a reinforcement.
Many times, the lion in you will want to roar but because you have made up your mind to submit to the lordship of Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit, you will scale through. All you need do is to ask for grace. Ask for heavenly reinforcement. Receive heavenly reinforcement today to do what ordinarily you are incapable of doing. Receive that divine empowerment in the name of Jesus.
