LET GOD BE MAGNIFIED I

Let’s appreciate God because he who keeps watch over us neither slumbers nor sleeps. Let’s appreciate him for keeping watch over us, thank him for the night battles that he has fought and won for us; ensuring that we are victorious and that the enemy does not have an upper hand over us.

PRAY –

We are pilgrims here; many times people forget this and they lose their pilgrim’s nature. That is one of the reasons why I cringe at the kind of messages that are coming out today not preparing people for where we are going but preparing people for this place that is about to fold up. This age is winding down very speedily. You need not be a student of prophecy to know this. The world is standing at the edge of a precipice; meanwhile, people are still busy accumulating things.

Jesus told us that it will be like the days of Noah when people will be marrying, building, accumulating, planning, flying and so on and suddenly the owner of the universe will say, “time up!” May the rapture not take any of us unawares in the mighty name of Jesus.

If truly heaven is our destination where we will spend eternity, why do we spend over ninety percent of lives down here accumulating everything we don’t need over there? Meditate on this. It is either we really don’t believe that there is heaven, (actually a lot of people behave as if they are not sure even in the Church) or something has gone really wrong. That is why the world is not being truly transformed in spite of all the religious activities.

How do you magnify God? How do you live the rest of your life magnifying him? The word of God is too rich and the beautiful part of it is that it is eternal. If you want anything deeply done, the best way to do it is to do it through the word of God. With this understanding, the Church will spend more time digging deep into the word so that we can transform the world.
