The way up in God’s kingdom is down, humility. Humble yourself before God. The way down is up – pride. Satan exalted himself before God, I will be like the most high and the other ‘I wills’ of Lucifer (Isa. 14). The climax was I will ascend, I will be like the most high – Self-exaltation. One of the ways to identify those who are far away from God is how they magnify self. The closer you come to God, the more broken you become. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.
The prosperity message has produced people who play God; they believe that once they give money to the Church, they become the owners. It is so easy to become stupid. Pride plus ignorance equals to stupidity. The cure for ignorance is knowledge that is why the Bible says through knowledge shall the just be delivered. But when pride mixes with ignorance, it produces a dangerous combination which no one can help. Be very careful when a righteous judgment is being implemented; make sure that you are always on the right side. Don’t dabble into things that you do not understand. Two-third of the angels who felt that God was too high handed in his judgment were banished with Lucifer.
Take note that Lucifer did not vocalize his thoughts; he only conceived them in his heart. There are consequences for even what you entertain in your heart; so be careful of the imagination of your heart lest it becomes your harvest. A lot of people fail to realize that your thoughts are seeds and as long as the earth remains, seed time and harvest shall not cease.
Gal. 6:7, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap”. What are you sowing in the garden of your heart? What are you imagining? It is difficult to teach anyone who is self willed even when he knows nothing. He is unteachable and that is why he feels everyone is a bad teacher. For those who cannot learn, everybody is a bad teacher. They are too self-willed to change. Jesus is the shepherd of sheep not the shepherd of lions; he said, my sheep hear my voice and they follow me. Rom. 8:9 says, if you don’t have the spirit of Christ, you are not a Christian at all, you are only pretending. If you have a contrary spirit, what you need is deliverance but it does not come automatically, it only comes to those who are honest and humble.
You cannot deliver the self-willed, the unteachable. It is a fundamental flaw. No matter how great the anointing is, they will always block the flow and end up complaining about not having a breakthrough. Look inwards. The grace you devalue cannot lift you. The anointing you do not recognize or celebrate cannot bless you. The grace you do not celebrate cannot bless you. What you attack, you cannot attract. You must not allow your heart to manufacture nonsense, it could block your heavens and if not well handled, it will metastasize, it will spread like cancer.
