Today, everything has been perverted, even success has been perverted; what people call success today is ‘leprosy’; Gehazi’s leprosy. What they call success is nothing but accumulation of ornaments of defilement and they come to Church to proclaim that God has blessed them. God cannot endorse it. Gehazi thought that he was wise when he ran after Naaman, little did he know that the eye of the prophet went with him. We need to be careful.
When Judas was frolicking and negotiating with the enemies of righteousness, he thought he was wise. This was an apostle who had stayed under the direct tutelage of Christ but who refused to be a disciple. We need to be careful. What business do you have with the congregation of the unrighteous, the congregation of the wicked?
Pray –
- Anyone genuinely connected to this ministry will never go the way of Gehazi, will never go the way of Judas Iscariot in the name of Jesus Christ, they will never be comfortable in the congregation of the wicked, in covens of darkness where evil decisions are being made against the anointed in the powerful name of Jesus.
- Father, stretch your hand, prune them out of the fellowship. Lord, teach those who are teachable in a way that they will understand, those who are not teachable, let them go. May they learn from mistake and let it not be too late, may they not go the way of Judas. Thank you Lord, in the name of Jesus.
“Who shall dwell in thy holy hill?” It is not about the crowd that congregate, in fact, you need to be careful about the crowd. When Jesus was breaking bread, the crowd came. Immediately he started teaching the bride’s message, they ran. The only people that remained were the twelve; when this happened, he asked the twelve, “Will ye also go away?” Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life” (John 6:66-68).
This is the time when you correct someone who is on his way to hell, a demon possessed person who is being driven by the demons to hell, they will rebuff your attempts to help them and may even decide to leave the ministry. Rebuke from a man of God is part of it. When Apostle Paul was writing to Timothy, Timothy was a teenager but he was the pastor of the Church and Paul enjoined him to rebuke openly so that others could learn. Anyone that cannot correct you is not qualified to be your pastor!
