CELEBRATING THE GRACES OF GOD II

25th of December is generally celebrated as the birth day of Jesus Christ. However, we know that Jesus was not born on 25th of December but we know that he was born. We don’t celebrate the day, we celebrate the fact. We celebrate the essence of his coming. We need not wait until 25th of December to do so.

We don’t have to wait until 25th of December to do so. That should be what we live for. That is the true meaning to being Christians; those who are Christlike. The apostles were called Christians for the first time in Antioch because the people could see the difference between the apostles and the world; they could see that they were like Christ in many ways. They continued the work of Christ and were very bold about it. In spite of the persecutions, they refused to bow to nonsense. God chasers don’t bow to nonsense.

As I progress in this journey, I keep dropping things as the Lord directs and each time I drop things, I get lighter, my life gets sweeter and my love for God keeps waxing stronger and stronger every day. I encourage you to be a student of progressive sanctification. Eccl. 9:8, “Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment”. This means you should clean up. Purity is power.
