RAISING THE BANNER
Text: Psalm 60:4-5 “Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. That thy beloved may be delivered; save with thy right hand, and hear me.” The banner is a standard, it is a symbol of authority; a symbol of territorial dominion and also a symbol of victory. The banner is effective only as long as it is displayed. A banner demarcates boundaries. We need to be people who are enforcing righteousness in our domain and places of influence. Text: Isa. 43:11-21 Verse 11 – “I am the Lord, and there is no other Saviour.” Are you in the Lord? Hold tenaciously to him. This is not a year to have a plan B because there is no alternative to God. There is what is called corporate anointing that flows when Christians gather to pray; it changes things in the realm of the spirit.
