- People will be thoroughly bad. Even if they paint and perfume themselves externally, inside of them, they are rotten through and through. The level of degeneration to which man has fallen is quite alarming. This is because there are spirits that are in charge and responsible for this meanwhile, many people have the erroneous impression that they are still in control. when a demonic spirit takes over the mind of man, there is no limit to the extent to which that man can degenerate.
- The spirit of stubbornness. This is hard headedness. How can you mentor a stubborn person? The spirit of stubbornness is a goat spirit. The worst people you can pastor are stubborn people, this is because there is a spirit driving that person to not only resent but to also revolt and resist constituted authority; he will resist instruction and even good ideas. It is the spirit of deviance; the force that drives rebellion is deviance and God sees it as witchcraft.
- Lying and Deception. If every sin that has been committed today were to be computed, lying will take the first place. Again, it started in the Garden of Eden. Please don’t allow any of these spirits to be found in you. Whenever some people open their mouth to talk, the first thing that comes out is a lie. The way to walk in dominion over this is to give your life to Christ. There is no hope of overcoming the spirit of the age for anyone who has not given his or her life to Christ. This is because these spirits are programmed to operate freely as such a time as this; they are to ensure that as many people as possible are held down and led astray to perdition, to their father, the devil who is the father of lies. There is no truth at all in him, it is natural for him to tell lies, it is in his nature to do so. John 8:44 says, “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar and the father of it”. Many people trivialize lying thinking that lying is a small sin, it originates from the father of lies and a liar will end up where his father is. Lying is one of the commonest spirits of this age.
PRAYERS
- Lord, please have mercy on me, all the past lies I have ever told, I ask you to have mercy and forgive me and I ask you to cleanse me as I yield my tongue to you. Lord cleanse my tongue and help me never to tell any lie again. Make it impossible for my tongue to be used to tell lies in the name of Jesus.
- O God who makes great things happen, have mercy on me and forgive me, cleanse me, purge me, purify my heart and make me holy, make me pure and acceptable to you in the name of Jesus.
- Father, I yield the garden of my heart to you, Jesus Christ, please come in, I proclaim you as my Lord and as my Saviour and deliverer, deliver me comprehensively from the spirits of this age in the name of Jesus. Grant that none of them will ever operate in my life, in Jesus name.
- Jesus, I yield my heart to you, be my Lord, be my Saviour. Every part of my body, I hand over to you and I enthrone you, do not allow me to manifest any of the spirits of the age, remove far from me the spirit of stubbornness in the name of Jesus. Remove the spirit that makes me to be thoroughly bad, let it be far from me in the name of Jesus. Lord, remove ingratitude from my life and help me to be grateful to those who have helped me especially to my parents, in the name of Jesus.
