Opposition to Christianity. It is one of the prevalent spirits of this age. Many Christians are afraid of this. You need to understand that your Christianity will be tried and tested in the market place that is why it is the responsibility of preachers to raise consecrated worshippers. That is my greatest desire; that anyone connected to this ministry will become a consecrated worshipper. When the Church starts to produce consecrated worshippers, dominion will come supernaturally and the dominion we are talking about will be heaven-orchestrated. That was the type of Dominion that Daniel had, he had so much dominion that no king reigned in his time without him. Elijah also exhibited this dominion. When the king sent a captain of fifty with his fifty to go and arrest him, he said, “If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty”. 2 Kg. 1:10. Elijah was able to call down fire because he was a consecrated connector. What you are not connected to cannot flow through you. This is the key.
Tim. 3:9 says, “But they won’t get away with all this forever. Some day their deceit will be well known to everyone, as was the sin of Jannes and Jambres”. I pray that those planning your downfall will never get away with it in the mighty name of Jesus.
VITAL KEYS
- You must be born again if you want to have dominion over the spirts of the age. There is no short cut.
- Feast on the Word of God. This is mandatory. It is the word of God that is the discerner, it is the word that you will use to say ‘thus says the Lord”. 2 Tim. 3:16-17 says, “The whole Bible was given to us by inspiration from God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives; it straightens us out and helps us to do what is right. It is God’s way of making us well prepared at every point, fully equipped to do good to everyone”. This is God’s prescription – His Word. How much of it is inside of you? There cannot be dominion over darkness without the word of God. You need to saturate your life with the word of God so much that you will carry enough light inside of you so that wherever you enter, darkness will disappear. How much of God’s word have you memorized? How much of God’s word are you making conscious effort to programme into the lives of your children who you are about to release into a wicked world? It is either you labour in the Word and be free from the world, or you labour in the world and be free from the Word. The choice is yours.
- Be prayerful. Don’t ever have the erroneous impression that you have prayed enough. This is because if you use God’s word to measure your prayer life, you will discover that you have a long way to go.
