- Father, I thank you, great is your faithfulness. Thank you for making me to see the beginning of this year 2019. Thank you because this year is my year of abundant life. Thank you, Jesus, you are my ticket for abundant life, I celebrate you. You are the Alpha and the Omega of my life, thank you for bringing me thus far. Lord, I re-dedicate my life to you, every second, every moment, every minute, every hour, every day, every week, every month of this year and all the years ahead. I enthrone you, I proclaim that you are the rock of my salvation, you are the rock of my protection, you are the rock of my preservation, you are the rock of my provision, you are the rock of my progression, you are the rock of my perfection, you are the rock of my promise. In you I live and move and have my being. Through you, I shall do valiantly. Through you, I am more than a conqueror. Thank you, Jesus. My destiny is secured in your hands. My going out and coming in is blessed because of you. Thank you, Jesus, I enthrone you King of kings, Lord of lords, Commander of the armies of heaven, glorious Lord, have your way in every facet of my life. Thank you, faithful God. I have seen January, by your grace, I will see the 31st day of December and I will celebrate the trophies that you have given me. Take all the glory in Jesus name. Amen.
There are some strategic periods in the year and one of them is as documented in 2 Sam 11:1, the time when the year expires is the time when kings (both righteous and unrighteous kings) go to war. The time when the year expires is also a time to take stock. The other strategic period is the beginning of the year. It is therefore important to take some strategic actions during these periods.
Mal. 3:18 says, “Then you will see the difference between God’s treatment of good men and bad, between those who serve him and those who don’t” (TLB). The difference between those who are good and those who are evil will be very clear this year because those who are good will be blessed while those who are bad will be judged. Every true child of God will sing this year and that song can be found in Hab. 3:17-18, “Even though the fig trees are all destroyed, and there is neither blossom left nor fruit, and though the olive crops all fail, and the fields lie barren; even if the flocks die in the field and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will be happy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my Strength, and he will give me the speed of a deer and bring me safely over the mountains.” (TLB).
This year, a flurry of activities will compel the Church to cry “O Lord come and rule your people; lead your flock; make them live in peace and prosperity; let them enjoy the fertile pastures of Bashan and Gilead as they did long ago.” Micah 7:14 (TLB).
No matter the amount of wealth you amass, if you miss your Jesus connection, you have failed because what you will get is partial success; you are succeeding to fail. Whoever misses Jesus has missed true riches. We must return to the true gospel that was delivered to the Church. Jesus preached the bride’s message, he is coming for the bride. I had an encounter with him on the 1st of July 2018, he gave me a second chance and informed me that his people are not ready for him. It is a dangerous thing to travel without Christ. Don’t have a plan B. If you are a Christian be a true Christian this year, be a true child of God. Without Christ, you cannot fly. Christian without Christ means I am nothing. Jesus is our eternal bridegroom we are his bride but the question is are we ready for the bridegroom? You must mean business with God this year.
Every passing moment takes you closer and closer to eternity. Where will you be a thousand years from now? One of the very thought-provoking questions in the early 70s when I gave my life to Christ and when many people were still seeking God in spirit and truth, is where will you spend eternity? The Lord is reaching out, don’t be left out!
PRAYER
- This year, Lord, reveal your purpose for my life and help me to fulfil it; help me to make hay while the sun still shines. Do not allow me to miss your purpose for my life, do not allow me to chase money to the grave and miss the better things of life. Please, locate me appropriately, O God, and give me abundance of life, let your abundant life flow through me and impact lives around me in Jesus name.
- Search me, O God and know my heart, test my thought, point out anything you find in me that makes you sad and lead me along the path of everlasting life in the name of Jesus.
- Heavenly Father, dismiss all the charges against me in the name of Jesus.
- Grant that henceforth, I will live within God’s circle of blessings all the days of my life in the name of Jesus.
- Father, bless me with incredible blessings in the year 2019 and beyond in the name of Jesus.
- O Lord, please help me, save me and give me success in the name of Jesus.
- I prophecy that the gates of blessings shall never be shut against me anymore in the name of Jesus. The gates of miracle, promotion, success, favour, honour, supernatural abundance, increase, supply, the gate of nations and prosperity shall never be shut against me or against any member of my family in the name of Jesus.
- Heavenly Father, like you did for Cyrus, go before me to the year 2019 and beyond and level the mountains, smash down the gates of brass and iron bars and give me treasures hidden in darkness; secret riches in the name of Jesus.
- Heavenly Father, strengthen me and send me out to victory in the name of Jesus.
- Father, let all my enemies follow me as prisoners in chains and fall down on their knees before me and say the only God there is is your God, let this be my testimony in the name of Jesus.
- I shall never be disappointed in my God through all eternity in Jesus name.
- In Jehovah is my righteousness and strength in Jesus name.
- Heavenly Father, banish from my mind the very thought of doing wrong in the name of Jesus.
- I will live in joy and peace in the year 2019 and beyond in Jesus name.
- The mountains and the hills, the trees of the field, all the world around me will rejoice in Jesus name.
- Where once were thorns, fir trees will grow, where briers grew, the myrtle tree will sprout up. This miracle will make the Lord’s name very great and be an everlasting sign of God’s power and love in every area of my life.
- I will sparkle with happiness in this year 2019 in the name of Jesus.
- This year, all nations shall call me blessed for I will be a land sparkling with happiness in Jesus name. I will sparkle, the glory of God will no longer be hidden in my life in Jesus name.Amen.
