Take note that:

1. Marks can be for safety. Exo. 12:1-3, 6-7, 12-13. The blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth has the Passover ministry. It is one of our surest insulations against evil marks. You must saturate your life and that of your children regularly with the blood of Jesus Christ. Draw the bloodline and keep the beast away. It is the blood of Jesus that can insulate us from all the contaminations in the world today.
2. Marks can be for peace. Psa. 37:37 “Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace”. A perfect man is always marked out for peace. There is no substitute for holiness for anyone who wants to be serious with God.
3. Marks can also distinguish someone from blessing or curse, life or death, heaven or hell, prosperity or poverty. Most of the time when people are operating under a curse, they attribute it to bad luck but there is nothing like bad luck in the Bible. You are either blessed or cursed.

In our text (Rev. 7:1-4), the entire nation was already marked out for judgment, God was about to judge the world but he told his angels to wait until he has put his seal on his own. One of the blessings of service is protection. God protects his own. May the Lord shield you from all evil marks and from all the tragedy that are programmed to happen in the world in the mighty name of Jesus.

Read Rev. 13:16-17. The identity of the beast – the mark, the name, the number. The mark of the beast is already actively operating. Pride and deception are some of the marks of the beast. There is an alternative to death and that alternative is life. Study Rev. 14:9-11 and Rev. 20:4 “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them; and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they live and reigned with Christ a thousand years”. Gal. 6:17 says “From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus”. We must bear the mark of Christ and not the mark of any denomination. There is no denomination in heaven; Jesus died for humankind and not for any denomination. “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God”. Rom. 8:14.

Dominion over evil marks is only possible through the finished work of Christ. Zech. 13:1 “In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness”. The Lord has already made provision. He has opened a fountain for all uncleanness and for all defilement. Will you enter into this fountain and appropriate the cleansing ministry of the blood of Jesus, God’s son, today to remove every sin; to cleanse you inside out; to remove the filthy garment so that you can put on Christ and bear the mark of Christ upon your forehead? Jesus Christ in you is the hope of glory. Let’s

 yield to him. Let’s learn to go to the cross daily to exchange our frailties for his strength, our foolishness for his wisdom, our incapabilities for his capability, our unrighteousness for his righteousness, our unfaithfulness for his faithfulness. Let’s learn to say like Apostle Paul “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me”. Gal. 2:20. Let this be our testimony. Let’s flee from every appearance of evil and say ‘No’ to satanic overtures, let’s say ‘No’ to defilement, let’s say ‘No’ to the food from the king’s table, then we will be ready to stand for sonship. The whole world is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. Without holiness, no man shall see God.

PRAYER

• Use Zech. 13:1 to enter into fellowship with the precious blood of Jesus. Pray – Lord, I thank you for the fountain that you have opened for my comprehensive cleansing. Today, I enter into this fountain (visualize the fountain as a shower; let the blood run from the crown of your head down to the soles of your feet). Get drenched in that pool of the precious blood of Jesus. Confess this – let the fountain flow from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet and cleanse me comprehensively and remove every evil mark that I am carrying, let the evil marks be erased in the mighty name of Jesus.
• Heavenly Father, erase, by the blood of Jesus Christ and by the fire of the Holy Ghost, every evil mark following me from the day I was conceived in my mother’s womb till date. Be erased by the blood of the lamb and by the fire of the Holy Ghost, in the mighty name of Jesus.
• I receive comprehensive cleansing from evil marks by the power of the blood of Jesus and by the fire of the Holy Ghost in Jesus name.
• I now put the blood of Jesus Christ upon my body gates, I put the blood of Jesus Christ upon my soul gates and upon my spirit gates and I decree – no entry to any demon or any contrary spirit in the name of Jesus.
• I break away from every evil remote control mechanism operating in my life, break right now, in the name of Jesus.
• By the power in the name of Jesus Christ, I deprogramme every programme of hell concerning my destiny, concerning my family, concerning my ministry, break in the mighty name of Jesus.
• I proclaim that it is a new dawn, because Jesus has set me free, I am free indeed. I am comprehensively free in the name of Jesus, I walk in dominion through the finished work of Christ on the cross, I walk in comprehensive dominion over evil marks in the mighty name of Jesus.
• My life is hid with Christ in God in Jesus name. Through Christ, I shall do valiantly, through Jesus; I am more than a conqueror.
• Thank you Jesus. I enthrone you, be thou exalted, let your name be magnified, in Jesus mighty name I have prayed. Amen.
