4. The good heart. In the good heart, you will find meekness. Meekness is power that is consecrated to God. You have power which you are not using but have handed over to God. 2. The Stony heart. There are so many people in the Church with stony heart; one hundred years in the Church, no change because they are not ready to receive the word. They get promotions in their various Churches but they are not qualified to teach in the children’s department. Some children have more knowledge of God than they do. Four conditions of the heart are mentioned in this passage and everyone fit into one of these. There is a fifth condition which was not mentioned in the parable of the sower but in the book of Psalms 56:5. Only one out of these heart conditions is perfect. 1. The wayward heart. One of the characteristics of a wayward person is lack of commitment, another is lack of focus, indiscipline, irresponsibility, disobedience, carelessness and so on.
