CONSECRATION AND SPIRITUAL WARFARE III

I want you to know that demons are obstinate rascals and they are intelligent; they know when you are serious. They try to read your mind by what you say. They can tell your spiritual standing from afar and they are very legalistic. That was why they were able to attack the seven sons of Sceva who tried to cast them out in the name of Jesus whom Paul preached (Acts 19:13-16). The evil spirit said, “Jesus I know, Paul I know; but who are ye?”

One ministry you cannot afford to play games with is the deliverance ministry. That is why not everyone delves into it because they believe that it is a special calling but it is not. Mark 16:17 makes it very clear that the first sign that should follow every believer is the ability to cast out devils, it is not to speak in tongues but everything has been twisted.

You cannot be living in sin and be casting out any devil. You therefore need to clean up and mean business with God. In addition, you should know who you are in Christ. You should know what you have in Christ. You should know what Christ has done for you. It is only through him that we do valiantly. When you stand on what God has done and the fullness of the authority of the believer, you will become a terror to the kingdom of darkness.

We were called to fight the good fight of faith every other fight is strife, an exercise in futility. We are not fighting for victory; we are fighting from victory. In heaven, Jesus won the battle. On the cross, he won the battle. In the grave, he won the battle and he has given us the victory. He gave us the authority. In Matt. 28:18, he gave us all power and that includes authority, delegated power and dunamis – dynamic power in heaven and on earth. Comprehensive power has been given to Jesus Christ.

In Luke 10:19, he gave us the power to trample upon serpents and scorpions and power over the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt us. When you combine this with Isaiah 54:17, no weapon fashioned against me shall prosper, any tongue rising against me in judgment, I condemn, you will become unstoppable. This is our privilege as people who are called. This should excite you and call you into action. We are going to ascend.

Don’t ever bind without looking down; anytime you are binding and not looking down, it means that you are not high enough. Also ensure that you don’t jump into binding until you are fully consecrated. It is only as a consecrated priest that you can reign as an all conquering king in God’s kingdom.
