CONSECRATION AND SPIRITUAL WARFARE IV

In the spirit realm there is no vacuum, no “wannabe”. Many years back, while we were casting out demons an usher noticed how demons were responding under the anointing with all manner of manifestations, so he jumped in and stretched forth his hand to lay it on someone who was carrying a scorpion inside of him, a native doctor who had just converted and was busy terrorizing the people he was staying with. He got the scorpion from the waters.

When I noticed what he was about to do, I quickly intervened and pushed away his hand in order to protect him. However, immediately my hands touched him, he started some funny manifestations and so I took him aside and interrogated him but he told some lies about a lady he met some time in the past. When we laid hands on this usher, he started manifesting violently and the demons started speaking saying, “he made love to us”.

The deliverance session was so violent that he was almost paralyzed in the process. After this we laid hands and prayed for the native doctor who manifested and fell under the anointing for a while. You don’t fake these things. Apostle Paul warned that we should lay hands on no man suddenly (1 Tim 5:22). Don’t lay empty hand if you are not carrying the fire of the presence of God.

By the time the native doctor got up a surgery had taken place in the realm of the spirit, he said a man dressed in white performed a procedure on him and took out the scorpion that he got from the water after sleeping there for three days. This scorpion gave him power to appear and disappear whenever he willed.

Be consecrated. Live a consecrated life if you want to operate in the maximum of the fire of the presence of God and the power of God. That is why a lot of people don’t venture into deliverance. It is easier to preach, speak in tongues and do Church than to cast out one demon. Jesus said, “And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils” (Mark 16:17).

Pray –

• Father, please let your power authenticate my Christianity from today. Father in the name of Jesus Christ, let the power of your presence authenticate my Christianity in the powerful name of Jesus.
• Show me where I need to make amends so that your glory will be revealed. I don’t want my Christianity to be average anymore, Lord, I am tired of average Christianity, I am tired of praying lengthy prayers with nothing to show for it.
• Father starting from now, please authenticate my Christianity with proofs, with the fullness of your power backup, your power from on high. Lord, let your power from on high back my decrees, legislations, and my prayers, with signs and wonders. Back me with miracles and with proofs in the mighty name of Jesus.
• Back me up, O God, with tangible testimonies, very sure testimonies and undeniable miracles.
• As I seek your face in this programme, Lord, let the supernatural become natural in my life in the name of Jesus. Display your supernatural working power in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, let it flow through me. Let your name be magnified.
• Lord, baptize me afresh with fire; let your fire envelop me. Lord, endue me with power from on high. Rend the heavens, O God, touch the mountains, let them smoke in the name of Jesus Christ.
