BLESSED BEYOND CURSE (PART 10I) EMPOWERED TO BE FRUITFUL – NO MORE BARRENNESS

It is not every woe in your life that the enemy is responsible for, some are your own doing and until you accept that, God will consider you a hypocrite. If you don’t accept responsibility for your actions, you will find it difficult to even repent. In my walk with God in the deliverance ministry of close to thirty years, I can tell you authoritatively that man is man’s own greatest enemy. When man decides to yield his will to the snake, what do you expect? Look at Adam? Why should Adam fall?

A perfect man in a perfect environment with only one command and when he fell he told God ‘it is the woman you gave me’. There was no repentance, no remorse. What he was saying in essence is if God did not give him the woman, he would not have fallen. Everybody is looking for whom to blame. Meanwhile everyone has twenty-four hours a day. How are you spending yours? Are you sowing emptiness and expecting fruits? God said, be not deceived. There are many dimensions of deception but the worst is self-deception which is the lie you tell yourself. This is the greatest deception there is.

Anyone who tells himself a lie cannot truly repent. Is there any way you are tolerating it in your heart? What are you sowing? How are you sowing the time that God has allotted to you here on earth? Can you beat your chest and say that you are truly productive? How can you produce nothing and expect supernatural abundance? Another dimension of deception is the deception of another man. That is why you must not keep bad association if you want to prosper. Psa. 1:1-3 says, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And she shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”

There is a close relationship between your association and fruit bearing. God wants us to get to the dimension of “whatsoever he doeth shall prosper”. Reaping is a natural consequence of sowing; if you sow nothing, you will reap nothing. As a student, don’t expect to reap excellence while sowing in computer games. What are you sowing? Are you a consumer or a producer? How have you invested your last twenty-four hours? Analyze it.

How have you been sowing in the past? Are you sowing in the flesh or in the spirit? Remember that the seed is always smaller than the harvest. God had a Son but he wanted a family; he wanted a kingdom of priests and kings, he had to sow his Son. The Bible says, “except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.” John 12:24.

PRAY:- Is there any way I have been sowing in the flesh? Lord I am sorry. I repent; I acknowledge that I was wrong. Lord, help me to sow in Spirit so that I may reap everlasting life in the name of Jesus.
Lord, please make me a spiritual Christian indeed. Make me a child of God indeed that is addicted to your word in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Help me to be spiritual, empower me, consecrate my spirit man and establish me in holiness, in righteousness and in wisdom in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

TO BE CONTINUED.
