BLESSED BEYOND CURSE (PART 16G) – CONFRONTING THE SEALS OF LIMITATIONS (1) (MARK 2:1-5 CONT.)

It is only the blood of Jesus that cleanses and sanctifies. There are so many things that are done today under the guise of religion. It is very easy to get into religion and miss Christ. The religious leaders that should be pointing people to Christ are the same people that were surprised that Jesus forgave the paralyzed man’s sin. This is because they never even recognized Jesus as the Messiah in the first place. Today, some religious leaders make themselves God by placing themselves in the position of Jesus. How can you give what you don’t have? It is Christ in you that is the hope of glory. It is Jesus that gets things done; it is not religion! Religion is satan’s counterfeit of true relationship with God and that is why Christianity is not religion. Religion is fallen man’s attempt to worship the living God but Christianity goes beyond that. Christianity is a loving God’s attempt to reach out to fallen man through his Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus is not a way, he is the WAY! The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin. Without the shedding of blood is no remission of sin. The sad thing about a religious person is that he thinks that his religious activities will avail on the day of reckoning. You can get so religious and miss Christ and miss God. Do you know that you can climb the ecclesiastical ladder and yet go to hell? Today, there are bishops who are gay! This shows the level of degeneration in the Christendom today. Don’t follow any religious leader, follow Christ. May the power of God dissolve every religious barrier that the enemy has created in your life in Jesus name.

THREE VITAL KEYS

  1. Good Association which is the right connection. The story of this man showcases a good association. Any association that brings you closer to God is good; any association that points you to Jesus is good. Any association that strengthens your relationship with God is good. This man was paralyzed but he had a wonderful team. May you never lack hand lifters in the mighty name of Jesus. What the paralyzed man could not do, these hand lifters were there to assist him. They were resolute, resilient, committed and full of faith. They had corporate faith. This is one of the things that is lacking today. How far can you go to offer a helping hand to a person who is down? These are days when before anyone thinks of giving a helping hand, he thinks first about what he can gain from it. This paralyzed man had the right association; he had the correct connection who decided that whatever it takes, the man’s miracle must happen. Pray –
  • Lord, surround me with the right people in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, please, surround me with hand lifters. Lord, raise encouragers for me in this journey, may I never lack hand lifters all the days of my life. Thank you faithful God, I depend on you in Jesus name. Amen.
