2019 OPERATION 18-18 (DAY 26) – PREPARING FOR A NEW SEASON 2(I)
The Bible is a Living book, a book of life; the Spirit that birthed the Bible is still at work and as long as that Spirit is at work, the testimonies we read in the Bible will continue to be alive. The Holy Spirit is an eternal Spirit and has continued the work; producing the same results, the same testimonies that were written; that is why we can bet our lives on the word of God. You should keep reminding yourself of this because the toughest battle is the battle of the mind. The devil does not want you to hear the truth of the word of God; he prefers to keep you chasing shadows and at the end of the year, you might have nothing to show for it. But those who prepare for a new season will definitely celebrate. There are things you do at certain times and you get the most of the benefits for everything; there is a time for every season in life.
Our greatest connection is divine connection. The devil knows that your greatest asset is your access to the presence of God in the Holy of Holies that is why he throws things at you to ensure that you don’t get there. That is why he wants you to operate at the outer court. The outer court is for the crowd, it is for the masses but the chief priest enters the Holy of Holies, that is where the glory is and that is the reason why we must get there.
This is our year of double ten times better and it is scriptural. That is God’s purpose for us; read Dan. 1:20. But what produced this scripture was the verse 8 where Daniel purposed in his heart, he decided, he determined that he was not going to be defiled and that he was not going to be deterred. He was in a state of captivity but his relationship with God was not captured. He was enslaved in Babylon but his relationship with the Father was not enslaved and he became a shaker, he became a prime mover. Daniel was so influential that he reigned literally in the land of his captivity; the kings ruled quite alright but Daniel reigned. It is better to reign than to rule.
Eccl. 3:1, “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” We have time, season and purpose. We had earlier established that there are cycles of life. The book of Ecclesiastics is a book of cycles. Some people classify life into three phases – the learning phase, the earning phase and the ending phase. Personally, I don’t believe that learning can end; you are never too old to learn. They contend that those who fail to learn (like acquiring skills) when they ought to end up not earning as they ought to and that those who don’t earn well don’t end well most of the time. This is a simplistic natural approach to the classification of the phases of life. However, one thing you cannot take away from this classification is that there is a time to be born, a time to grow up to become adolescent, a time to grow into being a young adult, a time to grow into old age and of course there is a time to die because it is appointed unto man once to die and after death judgment Heb 9:27.
