THE END TIME SERIES – REVELATION OF THE ANTICHRIST 3C

A lot of compromises are taking place in the organized Churches today. The moment you start compromising, you will get into error. It is an invitation to chaos; it is an invitation to the devil. Ecumenism is nothing but one of the structures that the antichrist will employ in order to manifest. It is one of the structures that will pave the way for the full manifestation of the antichrist. It is for control. Remember that he will have economic power, he will have religious power as well as great political power. The antichrist will be empowered by the spirit of witchcraft. The spirit of witchcraft is nothing but the spirit of intimidation, manipulation for the purpose of control. If it is not the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, then, we are not serving the same God! If you are not serving the God that spoke the world into existence, you are serving a wrong God. Repent, because if the trumpet sounds you will not make it. We need not be apologetic about this. Eternity is too serious to be left to chance. You don’t gamble with eternity. 

Agents of the antichrist are in strategic positions all over the world evangelizing seriously and they have so much influence, power and money. Don’t make any Pastor your role model. Rather, make Jesus Christ your model. Every man of God is first and foremost a man! It is so easy to get into error. If you read the book “God’s Generals” by Roberts Liardon, you will see how so many great men of God ended after preaching the gospel. If your leader wants to mislead you, it is your responsibility to say No! The Bible says, “Flee from every appearance of evil”.

We are living in dangerous times which the Bible calls “perilous times”.  The spirit of the antichrist is not only at work but at war. When a leader derails, you have no business following him. In the book of John, chapter six, Jesus called Judas, devil. It is easy for the devil to use man. When Peter was still standing, Jesus praised him and said flesh and blood did not reveal the revelation of who he was to him and that upon the revelation that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, ‘I will build my Church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matt. 16:18). Jesus said well done. After that when Jesus started telling his disciples the things that would happen to him in order for him to fulfil his ministry, Peter protested. Jesus called him satan.

What demarcates truth from error is a very thing line, at times, when you stretch the truth just a little, you will end up producing error. That is why we need the presence of God on a daily basis. That is why we need the Holy Spirit within. There is the spirit within and the spirit upon. The spirit upon is for exploits, for signs and wonders while the spirit within is for character, Christlikeness (being like Christ), submitting to the will of the Father. Three things you will find in the ministry of Christ are – he never sought to do his will, he sought to do the will of his Father, secondly, he was not a show man. He depended on his Father in what I call divine dependence and thirdly, universal benevolence. Acts 10:38, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him”. He had vertical connection with God and horizontal benevolence with man as manifested in his ministry.

PRAY –

Heavenly Father, I worship you. Grant me the grace to always fix my eyes on Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of my faith. Make it impossible for me to get into error all the days of my life in Jesus’ name.
