2020/2021 OPERATION 18-18 DAY 23B (DOMINION OVER THE DRAGON III)

All the characteristics of the dragon that we have examined accurately define him so he can actually be defined by his actions. That is why we can pray – ‘you the dragon responsible for (sickness for instance), I come against you in the name of Jesus Christ. I plead the blood of Jesus against you, I overcome you by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony.’ Whenever you sense the operation of the enemy in any area of your life, rise up. Many times we forget that the spiritual controls the physical and instead of fighting a deeply spiritual warfare with the weapons of our spiritual warfare, we get into carnal battles. We get into ‘civil wars’. Any time you get into a ‘civil war’, the dragon is entertained. Let every ‘civil war’ cease.

You may wish to ask ‘what is a ‘civil war’?’ A very common example is all the terrible exchanges that exist between husband and wife. The only person that is entertained in such a circumstance is the devil. The Bibles says in 2 Cor. 10:3-4, “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds).” We are not called to fight useless battles. Every ‘civil war’ is a useless war. Any time you get involved in carnality, spirituality departs. That is why you need to discern the enemy even before he manifests in your marriage and raise the blood of Jesus against him. I was invited to a special vigil organized by the women’s wing of a Church. During the service, the power of God moved mightily and there was a word of knowledge that some people were harbouring unforgiveness in their hearts. When I made the altar call, almost everyone in the congregation responded. I then went further to make a call for those who were harbouring unforgiveness against their husband; almost all those who came out raised their hands. The implication of this is that if the call had not been made, the women would have returned home thinking that their prayers had been answered. Meanwhile, the Bible says, if I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me (Psalm 66:18). This is how the devil frustrates prayer effort; a little iniquity in the heart, a little unforgiveness in the heart. The devil knows that a little bitterness in the heart can hinder you from receiving from God. Jesus made a profound statement in John 14:30– that the prince of this world (the dragon) cometh but finds nothing in him. Whenever he comes, may he not find anything in you in the name of Jesus. May he not find any of his characteristics or any of his properties in you. May he not even find any dust in you because he is a dust eater.

A lot of people accumulate dust and when the enemy comes to feast on the dust they have accumulated, they start blaming God and justifying themselves. The fact that you pay tithe does not absolve you of your responsibility to fence off the snake and clean up. The greatest desire of my heart is to be pure. This is because I know the blessings of purity. I clean up in order to soar. Don’t ever get into the motions of prayer without proper sanctification. Desire to be fully sanctified. This age is winding down speedily.
