Living in God's Grace
COVENANT PRAYERS,  OPERATION 18:18

2022/2023 OPERATION 18-18 – (COVENANT OF INFINITE GRACE II)

A true man of God does not point people to himself; he points them to Christ. Christ is the pattern Son. Some people know their pastors more than they know Jesus! The blood of the Lamb is the blood of everlasting covenant, not the blood of lion. The blood of lion has no redemptive value whatsoever. Let’s learn to worship God; he is the essence of our worship not self. Jesus is the essence of our being. The Lord is our song, our Saviour and our Salvation.

Whenever you speak about the Holy Spirit, don’t mention the eagle. It has none of the characteristics of the Holy Spirit, not one! Today, the Church is producing idolaters; idolatry is perversion of worship. Whenever there is a perverted worship, you have idolatry. If you reduce Christianity to money, you have already started worshiping mammon. That is the danger of the prosperity message. If you teach people the prosperity message without first of all raising them as worshippers, you will produce idolaters!

Pray –
  • Lord, please cleanse me. Remove every trace of idolatry from my heart. Lord, I worship you. I need you. You are my all in all, you are the object and substance of my worship. I do not want anything else.
  • Help me. In any way that I am in error, please straighten my theology. I want to know the truth because it is the truth that will make me free.
  • Help me, O God, not to be contaminated by erroneous theologies in Jesus’ name.

God is raising more preachers of holiness and righteousness without which you cannot see God. Sadly, the last time Jesus appeared to me, he told me that his people (believers) are not ready for his second coming!

Grace is another source of error. An understanding of grace will help us enter into God’s rest and multifaceted blessings without stress. A misunderstanding of grace may lead to conceit, pride, prejudice, delusion, deception, death and ultimate destruction. What then is the meaning of grace? The Hebrew word for grace is “Hesed” which is used 38 times in the Old Testament while the Greek word for grace is “Charis” which is used about 122 times in the New Testament.

Grace is an expression of God’s love to man in saving and blessing man with blessings that man does not deserve. In the Old Testament, we see the demonstration of grace in the sovereign elections, blessings upon people like Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, David, Ruth, Deborah, Samuel, Daniel, Esther and so on.

“Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Even as David also described the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin”.

Romans 4:4-8 KJV

What the Bible is saying is that grace is not something you work for, or earn, it is an undeserved, unmerited favour.

“And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. What then? Israel hath obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded”.

Romans 11:6-7 KJV

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast”.

Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV

John 1:16, “From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another” (NIV). Thank God for the blessings you have received.

PRAY –
  • Father, I thank you for all the blessings I have received according to your grace. I thank you for your mercies and goodness. I give you all the glory. I appreciate and bless and magnify your name in Jesus’ name.

TO BE CONTINUED.
