BE A GOD CHASER 7B – QUALITIES OF GOD CHASERS 4II

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”. 

Matthew 6:33, KJV

We need to elevate our pursuits. The greatest thing you can chase is God. Instead of elevating the pursuit of God what the Church in error (not every Church though) has done is to lower the standards of the word. I attended a university where we pride ourselves as lions and lionesses. Of course, I have since renounced it! Let nobody remind you of the things that you have renounced.

 It is madness to celebrate what you should break away from. It is unfortunate that the real messages are no longer coming from a lot of pulpits. The world is chasing money and it is by hook or crook, anyhow just get it; the end justifies the means! Grab it, snatch it, kill it, as long as you can get away with it, run with it!

Unfortunately the Church is also busy chasing money and no longer chasing God. From the back door, people who don’t even believe that God exists have access to the microphone and all they are trying to do is to use God to get money. Give me your gold and I will make you a god. That is why a lot of cathedrals are filled with idolaters and they are no longer hiding it. In fact, they will tell you that they are lions and eagles and are busy raising lions and eagles. Unfortunately, people who ought to have studied the Bible very well, people who ought to know better believe them.

Do you know who you are in Christ? I have studied the life of a lion and discovered that there are quite a number of smaller animals that can demystify it. Where did this error come from? Lack of thorough study of the Bible is a serious matter. Error is poison. When you try to correct those who are in error, they will crucify you.

“No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there: And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.” 

Isaiah 35:9, KJV

Where we are going, no lion can make it there. If you decide to make yourself a lion, it means you cannot get to heaven.

“And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? And no man in heaven, nor in earth neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth”.

Revelations 5:1-6, KJV

It was the Lamb that appeared and not a lion. The devil specializes in perversion. All it takes to produce a bottle of poison is a drop of it. If you read down this scripture, you will discover that in the final analysis, every lion will worship the Lamb!

• Everlasting and most merciful Father, I worship and adore you. By the power of the blood of your dear son Jesus Christ, graciously wipe away every theological error I have internalized and set me on the path of revelational knowledge of your word in Jesus’ name. Amen.
