RETURN TO THE ALMIGHTY 4A

“I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever … Thou openest thy hand, and satisfieth the desire of every living thing.”

Psalm 145:1-2, 16, KJV

This is a promise to lift the name of the Lord on high. To extol him means to praise him, to adore him, to celebrate him irrespective of whatever you are going through, in all circumstances. An aspect of this Psalm that ministers to me particularly is very 16. The Lord satisfies the desire of every living thing. If you are very observant, you would have noticed how God takes care of the spider, lizard, cockroach, porcupine, snake and every living thing. The Lord who satisfies the desire of every living thing will definitely satisfy your desire. Take hold of this scripture right now. Appreciate God profusely.

Pray –

• O God who satisfies the desire of every living thing, I magnify your name. I honour you, I bless you, I praise you. I adore you because I know that you love me and care for me. I know that you have prepared a table before me. I worship you, O God.
• I magnify and hallow your precious name. Truly, you will satisfy the desire of every living thing. Lord, I thank you.
• Lord, I ask you to satisfy all my voiced and unvoiced desires that your name alone may be magnified, for your word is true.
• Thank you for what you have been doing. You are worthy of all our praise. Thank you for the wonderful things you have done for us in the past. You are the God of yesterday, today and forever. The unchanging changer of the whole universe. We worship you.
• We present our needs before you individually and collectively (present them one after the other). This season of spiritual perfection, Lord, we ask that you perfect all that concerns us. Dot the i’s and cross the t’s concerning our lives, the ones we know and the ones we don’t. You are the omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent God.
• We come just as we are trusting you that you will do exceeding abundantly beyond our requests through your power working in us. Thank you for answering us in Jesus name.
