RETURN TO THE ALMIGHTY 5A

It pays to walk with God. The only place things make sense is in the presence of God. Frankly speaking, I don’t know how life without God is. There was a time I tried it but it was the worst period of my life. There is nothing out there. That is why I turned around and came back to God. He accepted me. When I see people who really think that there is something out there, I sympathize with them. The life of an unbeliever is dry, empty, shallow, fake, full of noise and eventually amounting to nothing.

No one can succeed without God. Well, you may ask, what about the millionaires in the world? That means you don’t really know the true meaning of success. Any success that does not begin with God is failure at last. A lot of people you see around are succeeding only to fail. They are set on a slippery path of the pursuit of vanity. Anyone who is not a God chaser will not make heaven at last. That is why we need to be careful of what we are chasing.

What are you chasing? Until you become a God chaser, you have not enrolled in the school of success. I am not referring success that results in failure, no, I mean comprehensive success. I am referring to life that starts from here and continues after death, eternal life. “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent” (John 17:3).

It is the knowledge of God that gives you stability and success. Success has been twisted even in the Church. The mind of man has been so perverted. If you are not tuned to the frequency of heaven, you will judge by sight and you will miss God. Such a person will fall prey to the antichrist. The spirit of the antichrist is already at work and at war. Unfortunately, a lot of people are oblivious of this; they are busy chasing shadows, vanity.

“And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits.” 

Daniel 11:32, KJV

So many people love the second part of this scripture while overlooking the wisdom in the first part of it. You cannot know God if you don’t love him, if you don’t chase him, if you don’t align with him to do his will like the pattern Son. You cannot know God if you don’t align your will to the will of the pattern Son, Jesus Christ (John 4:34). Jesus lived a purposeful life. May you not live a purposeless life in Jesus name.

Pray –

• Father, make it impossible for me to live a purposeless life in the name of Jesus.
• Help us, O God, to align with you, to do your will and to enjoy doing it.
• You have gone to prepare a place for us, Jesus, please prepare us for that place so that where you are, there also we will be and rendezvous with you in glory.
• In this journey, we rely on you. We depend on you and declare that you are the way, the truth and light and no one can come unto the father except through you.
• Do not allow us to put the wrong foot forward. Do not allow us to chase vanity and miss the real thing. Guide us by your spirit to be all you want us to be and establish us in holiness, in righteousness and in your wisdom.
• Help us in this journey. Make heaven more real to us than any earthly thing can ever be in the name of Jesus.
• We ask that you fill us with Christ till the world no longer sees us but Jesus shining through us. Thank you, ancient of days.
• Jesus never failed, we will not fail in Jesus name.
