CELEBRATING THE LORD ON HIGH VIII

How do you practice the presence of God as a very busy person? I was a Sales Engineer with very huge sales target back then. However, that was when I enjoyed the presence of God the most, to the glory of God. This is because I read from the Bible that it is possible to pray without ceasing, so I took that decision. I was the head of intercessors in the local Church I was attending and made up my mind that my life must be impactful. As I go out daily, I go in the consciousness of God’s presence; the presence of God will start impacting lives even as I commute. The presence of God is a continuum; practice the presence of God and be addicted to it and you will no longer be looking for miracles. You will be a miracle looking for where to happen!

Meditate on the Word daily. Sing, worship and enjoy the presence of God. Look inwards. Grace is never a license to stop looking diligently (Heb. 12:15). A lot of people in the Church today are guilty of the sin of unforgiveness and it is one of the things that will sentence more people to hell than any other thing. Look inwards. Clean up. Stop blaming every other person but you. Without holiness no one can see God. I hate defilement. You need to hate it if you want to live a holy life.

The beautiful thing about life is that life is a teacher and every man’s philosophy will be tested in the very fiery crucible of life itself. Life is a laboratory. If you believe any lie, it is dangerous. Our fore fathers believed lies and they lived it. We thank God for the missionaries that brought light to Africa. The best life you can live is the one that is consistent with the word of God. It does not make sense to go back to what our ancestors did. Teach your children that this God is our God forever and ever, he will continue to be our guide even unto the end (Psa. 48:14). The bad thing about idolatry is that the curses are generational. It is only one way that leads to God and that way is Jesus (John 14:6).
