DEALING WITH STARS

The sun, the moon and stars are agents of dominion. The sun to rule the day while the moon and stars are to rule the night. To rule means to dominate, to control. Occultists know how to draw spiritual energy from the sun, moon and stars in order to control destinies of people. (Read Psa. 136:8-9)

Matt. 2:1-2 – the wise men from the east could see the star because they were observing, they were gazing. It is the frequency you are tuned to that you will receive signals from. One of the most powerful sources of discernment is observation. What you observe is what you discern. They were able to discern the arrival of a special star. What this means is that everyone that is born has a star but all stars are not the same.

1. Stars are meant to shine;
2. Stars are meant to be seen; to be visible;
3. Stars are Champions;
4. It is an established fact that the devil is interested in pulling down stars. In an attempt to kill Moses after he was born, many stars were wasted. When Jesus was born, a lot of stars were wasted because Herod gave an instruction to wipe away children two years and below in order to ensure that this star will not shine. Rev. 12: 3-4 – the devil always goes after stars seeking not only to pull down but to devour.

Typical Stars

1. The sons of God who are growing into maturity. These are called stars in the spirit realm. Jesus is the bright and morning star and this applies to those who will overcome. Rev. 2:25-29. Spiritual maturity is becoming like Christ and Christ himself is bright and morning star. Those who are growing into maturity in Christ are stars and they must shine. God Himself has promised that He will give them the star. He who overcomes, God gives the grace and enables to shine and to rule even the nations, to dominate the nations. God is interested in nations. Are you growing? Have you learnt to dwell in the clefts of the rock in the secret places of the stairs? Are you climbing into maturity and becoming like Christ? No power either in flesh or out of it can stop you from shinning in Jesus name. Mal. 2:4 – the sun of righteousness arises on those who fear His name. God has a programme for His children to grow into maturity; into the character of God and becoming like God Himself. Part of the image and likeness of God is holiness, righteousness and wisdom. Christ is the hope of glory, no Christ, no shine. Every true child of God is a special person, a trailblazer; a pace setter; a star meant to shine in a dark world, a healing agent in a dark world. Every true child of God is a solution provider, an answer. True glory shines from within. The moon does not have any light of its own, all it does is to position itself along the axis of the sun and it becomes a reflection. Our lives are supposed to be a reflection; to speak, to sing; to be an impact; to flow in ceaseless praise of the goodness of God. The world is getting darker and this is the best time for the children of God to align. The woman crowned with twelve stars in Revelation 12 is the Holy Church with the twelve Apostles, the bride of Christ. The devil will try all it can to pull down the people of God by her tail through false prophets, false teachers and through persecution (Isa. 9:13-16), but he will not succeed.
2. Another set of people that the Bible recognizes as stars are those who are first born of their family. Gen. 49:3. Reuben was programmed to shine but something went wrong. Every first born in a family is supposed to be a star but herein lies the responsibility.
3. The third group of people that are called stars in the Bible are those whom the Lord has chosen to attain a place of prominence in their families. An example is David who was chosen by God to be King in spite of his position in his family.

Every first born in the family should make extra effort to follow God. That is what guarantees your destiny fulfilment. Become a first fruit indeed and know that the enemy is interested in pulling you down. Your walk with God should be one hundred percent.

One of the potent weapons the enemy uses in pulling down stars is generational cords (ties). If you are a first born in your family, run away from ancestral cords. Disconnect yourself from evil ancestral lineage. Remove yourself from the bloodline of idolatry and connect yourself to the bloodline of Jesus Christ. If you don’t disconnect from them, you will be bound to the evil covenants of your ancestors and it can exert unnecessary influence. There is the bloodline of the covenant of Jesus; that is where you should belong.

Ancestral bondage is very serious. A lot of people struggle with things they don’t know as a result of hidden covenants. In the Bible, when you look at David’s life, you will discover that his life is not complete without the history of adultery both in his lineage and in his own life. The evil cord of adultery and incest in Judah, which the devil planted, caught up with David after ten generations. That is the power of evil cords. Why David? The devil waited ten generations for his star to emerge so that he could cast him down with a cord. David was a king but the cord was still there.

We must be very careful about names. One of the weapons, which the enemy uses to activate evil cords, is names. If you have a bad name, change it before it kills you. The name you bear may be a link to your evil past generation. David’s son Amnon committed incest with Tamar his half-sister, David’s daughter. 2 Sam. 13. Remember that the name of David’s great great great grandmother was Tamar. Gen. 38:6. Tamar seduced her father in law, Judah, to commit incest. Amnon committed incest with Tamar after ten generations. David named his daughter Tamar after her great great great grandmother and the spirit of incest in that Tamar came on her. This situation caused David a lot and even affected his son, Solomon. We can take on the name of Jesus and break every evil generational cord. We can take on the blood of Jesus, separate ourselves from evil cords and stand on higher covenant by revelation and by relationship with Christ.

The problem with many people is that they fail to burn the bridge. There is no meeting point between light and darkness. The decision to follow Jesus is not a small decision; it is a decision that comes with responsibility of leaving the world behind and pressing onto higher ground on a daily basis. The devil also uses religious cords to pull people down. Beware of your association. Don’t tag along with those who are not going to the same direction you are going.

You must carry enough fire that Jesus Christ imparts that will burn every generational and invisible cord that the devil uses to gain access into your life. Everything God created was created for a purpose. In order to have dominion over stubborn situations that have to do with stars, you need absolute connection with Christ. Remember that it is Christ that is inside of you that is the hope of glory. It is through His name that you will conquer; it is through His name that you will break the evil cords. Psa. 129:4 says “the Lord is righteous, he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked. May Jesus rise up inside you and cut off everything the enemy has used to pull you down, in Jesus name.

You are a star. You must shine. The glory of God shall be made manifest in your life. You will fulfil the purpose of God for your destiny. There is not enough darkness in the world that can stop you from shinning, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

PRAYERS

• Lord, I thank you for your superior programme for my life; I thank you because your plans for me are plans of good to give me an expected end. I celebrate your program for my life and I thank you for your favour. Glory to your name, in Jesus name.
• Lord, in any way that I have missed your mark, in any way that I have come short of your glory, in any way that I have compromised your standards, I am sorry, please forgive me, wipe away all my transgressions, in the mighty name of Jesus.
• Every cord of the wicked that the enemy has placed in my life, today is your end. I come against you in the name of Jesus Christ and I command you to break in the name of Jesus. Every generational cord, evil ancestral cords, evil territorial cords, evil religious cords, evil social cords, break, in the name of Jesus.
• I plead the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth against anything that is speaking from my bloodline of idolatry, I raise the blood of Jesus against every evil generational cord, be utterly destroyed, in Jesus name.
• Heavenly Father, may I never take any step that is capable of jeopardizing the glorious destiny you have for me in the name of Jesus. May my children never take any step that is capable of jeopardizing their glorious destiny, in the mighty name of Jesus.
• All you evil power trying to pull down my star, I come against you, I bind you and overcome you by the blood of the lamb and by the word of my testimony; in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, be utterly destroyed.
• Father, let every evil eye that is set against my star go blind now, in the mighty name of Jesus.
• Any evil tongue raised against my star, be silenced, in the mighty name of Jesus.
• Father, uproot any dark power sitting down upon the throne of my star, in the name of Jesus. Uproot every dark power blocking my star from shining; destroy all the dark powers that have vowed against your purpose for my life, in the name of Jesus.
• I proclaim that there is not enough darkness in the world that can stop my star from shining, in the name of Jesus. The glory of God must shine in my life and through me. The Lord has made me a star and I must shine. The plan and purpose of God for my life shall be established and no power can stop it, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
