”I don’t mean to say I am perfect. I haven’t learned all I should even yet, but I keep working toward that day when I will finally be all that Christ saved me for and wants me to be.
No, dear brothers, I am still not all I should be but I am bringing all my energies to bear on this one thing. Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for which God is calling us up to heaven because of what Christ Jesus did for us.” ((Phip 3:12 – 14 TLB)
Paul doesn’t believe he has ”arrived” yet. He says he is still pressing toward the mark. The person who thinks he has arrived and knows it all will never grow spiritually. Smith Wigglesworth said, ”I am satisfied only with the dissatisfaction that has to be satisfied again and again. Forget past mistakes, failures and sins. As long as satan can keep those past failures before you, he has you in a position where you will not develop spiritually and your prayers and faith will not work. The word of God clearly says:
”I, yes I alone am he who blots away your sins for my own sake and will never think of them again.” (Isa 43:25 TLB)
”And I will be merciful to them in their wrongdoings, and I will remember their sins no more.” (Heb 8:12 TLB)
The word of God is the cure for sin – consciousness. ”So let us come boldly to the very throne of God and stay there to receive his mercy and to find grace to help us in our times of need.”(Heb 4:16 TLB)
Thank God for the promises of forgiveness! That verse does not belong to the sinner. God does not want us to sin but if we do, Jesus Christ is our advocate with the Father to plead our case.(1 John 2:1-2).
Jesus is the atonement for our sin as well as for the sins of the whole world (1 John 1:9)
As a believer, once you have confessed your sins, make the decision to stop reminding them because God forgets them. Learn to forget what God has forgotten.

I bless the holy name of God with all my heart. Yes, I will bless the Lord and not forget the glorious things he does for me. He forgives all my sins. He heals me. He ransomes me from hell. He surrounds me with loving kindness and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things! My youth is renewed like the eagle’s! (Psalm 103:1-5 TLB)

”He has removed our sins as far away from us as the east is from the west.” (Psalm 103:12 TLB) Amen
