CHEER UP; DON’T BE AFRAID

”Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout; O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem. For the Lord will remove his hand of judgement, and disperse the armies of your enemy. And the Lord himself, the king of Israel, will live among you! At last your troubles will be over – you need fear no more.

On that day the announcement to Jerusalem will be, ”Cheer up; don’t be afraid. For the Lord your God has arrived to live among you. He is a mighty saviour. He will give you victory. He will rejoice over you in great gladness; he will love you and not accuse you”. Is that a joyous chair I hear? No, it is the Lord himself exulting over you in happy song. I have gathered your wounded and taken away your reproach”. (Zephaniah 3:14-18)

What an awesome God we serve. Atimes it will pay to spend some time to just meditate His ALMIGHTINESS. All your worries and cares will pale into insignificance. In one glorious moment of Divine intervention, every thing you ever trusted God for will be in place. Every thing the devil has used to mock your Christianity will evaporate. The armies of your enemies will be sent back to hell – never to return. Proclaim it, our God is a mighty Saviour. He will give you victory. He has taken away your reproach. Cheer up. Don’t be afraid. The Lord has stepped in.

Spend some time to offer God some quality praise. Worship God very profusely today. Celebrate His almightiness.

P R A Y E R

Dear Heavenly Father, I celebrate your sovereignty and faithfulness. Thank you Lord for your word. I hand over every challenge facing me (mention them, be specific) to you. I thank you for giving me victory in Jesus Name. Amen.
