HEAVEN – THE HEADQUARTERS OF LIGHT
- We need to constantly and consciously purify ourselves in preparation for heaven; only God can take us there. 1 John 3:3, “And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure”. Luke 21:34-36, “And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man”. Luke 13:23-27, “Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity”. Purity is mandatory, it is not optional. Any congregation where this truth is not being emphasized will be a gathering of pigs and nothing that is defiled will ever make it to heaven. May the Lord help us to put this in proper perspective in Jesus name. To be defiled is to be damned.
Jesus is the way to heaven. John 14:6 says, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me”. It is to God through Christ; it is not to God through Mary or any of the saints. Comprehensive dominion is only possible through the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Nobody can cross the second heaven without Jesus.
Jesus not only saves us, he quickens us and raises us to sitting together in him in heavenly places above thrones, above dominion, above principalities, above powers, above the rulers of darkness of this world. Eph. 2:5-6, “Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus”. Psa. 110:1, “The LORD said unto my Lord, sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool”. We are expected to operate from this position. This is the place of classical dominion. When your ‘life is hid with Christ in God’, you get to sitting together above thrones, above witches and wizards, that is the position from where you legislate and your word will become a law.
It is time to decree and manifest sonship; there is a time to enforce dominion. The world is upside down today because the sons of God are failing to manifest. Why? They have become one with the world that they were called to change.
Glory to God, comprehensive dominion is to make heaven at last through Jesus Christ. The glory of heaven means that no price is too heavy to pay for it. We cannot afford to take heaven for granted. Just as we prepare for any important journey, we ought to prepare rigorously and seriously for the journey to heaven. We ought to purify ourselves, search our hearts constantly and refuse to allow satan to divert our attention from God. We need to pray constantly and earnestly that God, by his grace, will hold our hands until we reach our glorious home.
