CELEBRATING THE PRECIOUS HOLY SPIRIT (PART 3) THE WORKS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THE LIFE OF THE BELIEVER

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth. Liars are the greatest losers. A liar is already carrying the mark of the beast. Many people in the Church today are carrying evil seals, the Cathedrals are filled with all manner of people. If you are comfortable in a sinful environment, check yourself; something is terribly wrong. As we had earlier established, because the Holy Spirit is a gentle Spirit, you can actually override his voice and when you do, he takes his leave. But who stands to lose? Without the Spirit’s work of conviction, we will remain ignorant of our sinful and lost condition. There are many people who are on a slippery path because of wrong theology. But if you have been following these teachings, you will appreciate what God has done for you; you will understand the spirit you are carrying as opposed to the spirit of the world. The sprit of the world can make you become the president of a nation but the Bible says, “what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” Mark 8:36.

• The Holy Spirit produces conversion and regeneration. In electrical engineering, regeneration means to put power back into the system, it means to be re-empowered and to be reinvigorated. The power of the Holy Spirit enables you to say, No, to every appearance of evil; this power enables you to overcome temptation. The Holy Spirit’s power enables you to be at the center of God’s will.

Lift up your hands and pray –

Holy Spirit, I stretch my hands to you, please empower me to say No to every appearance of evil, make it impossible for me to be comfortable with sin and in sinful environment. Please purify me, take away every dross from my heart, remove every sinful inclination in me and empower me to be all that you want me to be, empower me to live in dominion over sin and over the penalty of sin and over the enticement of sin in the mighty name of Jesus. Grant me the grace to be truthful. Remove every trace of perversion from my heart and grant me the grace to yield to your will; to love what you love and to hate what you hate in Jesus name.

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”

One of the blessings of connecting to the Holy Spirit is that the Holy Spirit is the spirit of rejuvenation, he is the spirit of re-invigoration, the spirit of regeneration, the spirit of freshness, the spirit of renewal.
