Sunday service

He was wounded so that I can be totally liberated and free from confusion. Confusion was one of the effects of the fall of man in the Garden of Eden.

When man fell, he became confused, unable to choose right. One of the things that happened to man was that man acquired what is called a diseased perception of reality and what this does to man is confusion in choices, confusion in making right decisions. Man lost the ability to choose right. Man began to choose by sight and to walk by sight. Unfortunately, the physical is very limited. Man’s will became united with the will of the snake. It is actually the snake that manipulates people away from making right choices. That was where the confusion began. But Jesus is the Prince of peace. One of the things that Jesus restores to you when he comes into your heart is peace. It happened to me personally.

This peace is such that you cannot find elsewhere. It is unquantifiable; peace that you cannot purchase with money. Without that peace, you just cannot take simple decisions. It is lack of peace that draws people away to perdition. Some people cannot sleep except they take all manner of stuff. Lack of peace makes man to chase shadows and to chase vanity. God’s prescription for confusion is the cross. We can take our confusion and lay it at the feet of the cross of Christ and in exchange receive his peace that passes all understanding.

Think of a world where the peace of God reigns. Peace is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Anybody who rejects the Prince of peace will know no peace. The Bible says there is no peace for the wicked. One of the easiest ways to lose your peace is to become wicked. It is not really difficult to become one; all it takes is just for you to give your life to perversion. But thank God, John 14:1, says, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.”

PRAY;- From today, my heart, you shall not be troubled. I believe in Jesus Christ, the Prince of peace. I believe in his word and what he has done for me on the cross. My peace I receive from his finished work at the cross of Calvary. Thank you Prince of peace; reign in every area of my life in Jesus name. Amen.
