FOUR MAJOR THINGS THAT MEN CHASE

1. The average man chases women CONT’D
When a man begins to lust after a man, know for sure that a demon of perversion is operating in him. The world is very sick. Raising godly children has never been a tea party but today, it has become rocket science because of perversion.

“Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body”. 

1 Corinthians 6:18, NKJV

No matter how the devil dangles it, the Bible says, run away from it! The easiest way to get demonized is to be loose. The devil knows this and he is using it to corrupt humanity. The Lord will shield his own in Jesus’ name.

To be a God chaser, flee immorality. Flee from every appearance of evil. Flee from anything that contravenes the will of God. Don’t pretend to be superhuman, flee! This is the greatest mistake most people who have fallen made. Don’t pretend to be a superman; you cannot be stronger than Samson. Don’t pretend to be a super man of God. Are you more of a worshipper than David, the great Psalmist of Israel who went to the temple ten times a day? What you chase is what the devil will use to trap you. One of the facts about what you chase is that it becomes your banana peel. That is what the devil will use to perch, and that is why you must be very careful about where you set your heart. Don’t pretend to be too wise. Are you as wise as Solomon who wrote the book of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and Songs of Solomon? What went wrong?

The greatest weapon for dealing with sexual immorality is the cross. It is at the cross that you crucify the flesh. Today, people are no longer being taught that you must die before you can resurrect. Jesus said if you want to be my disciple take up your cross and follow me daily (Luke 9:23).

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me, and gave himself for me”. 

Galatians 2:20, KJV

If you are a God chaser, you will be a consummate worshipper of God. You cannot be a consummate worshipper without the fear of God. That was what saved Joseph from the amorous overtures of Potiphar’s wife. Daniel purposed in his heart that he was not going to be defiled by the food from the king’s table (Dan. 1:8). May what to eat never become a snare to you in the mighty name of Jesus.
