BLESSED BEYOND CURSE (PART 23B) – THE SEAL OF JABEZ (2)
Don’t accept any unsatisfactoriness of things as your lot. I was gainfully employed in a stress-free environment when most of my peers were unemployed. My working hours were 8am to 2pm Monday through Friday with prospects of rapid promotion. So, I should be satisfied with this accomplishment. But, No! Something in me revolted and I told myself that this cannot be my bus stop; God has something better for me. Therefore, I cried to God. In fact, I was so angry in spirit that I bought a wall clock for myself as my birthday gift that year and hung it in a very strategic location where I could see it as I was getting out of bed daily. Why did I do this? I was reminding myself in a very subtle way that it was time! You know what? To the glory of God, the next year, I celebrated my birthday in the United States of America where I was sent on a five-month training after being gainfully employed by a company that sponsored the trip with all expenses paid. That was a major turning point in my life. You cannot change what you tolerate. Don’t park, if you park, you will attract dust. Everything good starts with ‘go’ including God!
Whatever the enemy has done can be turned around for good. The enemy does not do anything good but whatever he has done against you can be reversed. Recovery is possible, don’t resign! Don’t accept your present location as your final bus stop. There is light at the end of the tunnel but you must get there in order to shine. It is ignorance that makes people think that they have arrived when they have not started.
With God, nothing shall be impossible. There is no situation that God cannot change if only you can trust and connect to him properly. He can give you a turn around.
The difference between success and failure is in one decision. I have discovered that one of the most important words is ‘Decision’. Decisions determine a lot of things; decisions determine wealth, decisions determine destination. One of the best decisions to take early in life is the decision to be a producer and not a consumer. You are either a net producer or a net consumer. The economy of many African countries is in shambles today because they are countries of net consumers.
PRAY:- Heavenly Father I thank You for the generous provisions You have made for my well being here and hereafter. I ask You to grant me the grace never to park on my present level of achievements but to keep walking hand in hand with You so that Your purpose will be fulfilled in every facet of my life in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
