BLESSED BEYOND CURSE (PART 24B) – THE HAND OF GOD

It is very important for you to understand who this God is in order to appreciate what his hand can do for you and to understand what his hand signifies. Anytime you find yourself overwhelmed by problems, it will do you a lot of good to just take some time out to meditate on the almightiness of God; just separate yourself and fix your eyes on the awesomeness and almightiness of God, focus on his limitless capabilities. Then, begin to meditate on his faithfulness, his reliability and dependability, then go ahead and begin to meditate on the immutability and the inerrancy of his word. As you do this, you will notice a sudden surge of faith inside of you and before long, you will start confronting the mountain. Before long, you will start singing praises and confessing that you are blessed beyond any curse. You will discover that those who are for you are greater than those who are against you. This is because whenever you magnify him, the Lord shows up. The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters according to Psalm 93 verse 4. We must learn how to make our God arise on our behalf. The great move of the Lord is on all over the world, the Holy Spirit is moving, don’t be left out. Pray –

• Holy Spirit, do not allow me to be left behind, do not allow me to be left out, do not allow me to park, grant me the grace to keep moving even as you move, in the mighty name of Jesus.

The hand of God is the manifest presence of God and any where he manifests, there will be signs and there will be wonders. As mentioned earlier, from time to time we need to meditate on the almightiness of God, the awesomeness of the power of his presence. The presence of God will drive away fear from you and in place of fear, there will be a surging of faith like mercury in a thermometer.

There is a fire that is hardly emphasized; that fire is called the fire of faith. We need the fire of faith to surmount challenges and walk in the realm of limitless possibilities. Fear gives people a grasshopper mentality. A grasshopper mentality is the kind of mentality that the ten spies that were sent by Moses to spy the Promised Land and they came back with a very bad report when they saw the sons of giants, the sons of Anakim who lived in fortified cities on the land and so, their hearts melted. As a result of this, they began to see themselves as grasshoppers in the light of the giants. A grasshopper is still a grasshopper no matter how big it is. We feel like one when we allow our fears and problems to dominate our thinking. Do you know that anything that defeats you in the realm of the spirit has conquered you? Nobody ever rises above their personal persuasion; you cannot rise beyond your level of self persuasion. Are you persuaded that you can rise above it? But take a look at the Caleb company who said though the giants may be on our way to hinder, God will surely give us victory. We are well and able!
