WALKING IN THE ANOINTING FOR BETTER THINGS 1A

Jesus said “I am the way”. He is the way, he didn’t say I am a way! In John 14:2-3, he said, “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also”. I understand that there is one word that is most dreaded in hell; that word is ‘eternity’. Whenever that word is mentioned in hell, there is always an upsurge of screams. In the early seventies when I gave my life to Christ, there was a question that was so effective in winning souls to Christ, ‘where will you spend eternity?’ It is important for us to understand that we are pilgrims here on earth, we are only passing through. Heaven is our destination, heaven is our dwelling place, it is our final resting place. No matter how beautiful our homes are, there is a better place. Let’s desire it and press into it. Let’s remain in Christ, walking hand in hand with him until we get there.

The Church became weak when she began to de-emphasize the pilgrim’s nature of our existence here and began to prepare people more for this earth rather than where we are going. That was a mistake, a distortion, an aberration and a strategy from the pit of hell. Anything that is earth bound cannot hear the sound of the trumpet.

Eternal life is not what you die to inherit, it is what you live to enjoy. If heaven has not began with you here, it may not be your final bus stop. Please meditate on this song which is a prayer, a declaration, an affirmation. It is purposeful.

“Lord, you’ve gone to prepare a place for me, where you are that’s where I want to be, Lord prepare me a sanctuary so I’II dwell with you forever.”

Where my Lord Jesus is, is where I desire to be but before I can get there, there is need for him for prepare me a sanctuary. In the realm of the spirit, like attracts like. You have to be prepared a heavenly sanctuary here in order to qualify to enter the sanctuary he has prepared for you in heaven.

Pray –

• Lord, you have gone to prepare a place for me, I declare that I belong to you forever. Where you are, that’s where I want to be. Please prepare me a sanctuary, make me a sanctuary. Make me your dwelling place so that where I will dwell will be where you have prepared for me, no other place. Make it impossible for my dwelling place to be vacant in heaven.
• Jesus, I depend on you in this journey, I’ve never walked this path before, I declare that you are the way, you are the life, you are the light, you are the door, you are the truth. I depend on you. I rely on you. I rely solely on your finished work at Calvary for me to make it to the Promised Land and for me to enter my heavenly sanctuary.
• Help me to live for you all the days of my life. May I never disconnect from knowing you. Help me to desire heaven more than anything here on earth. Thank you Lord Jesus; you are my ticket for the rapture. Take all the glory, in Jesus name. AMEN.
