OPERATION 18:18

2020/2021 OPERATION 18-18 DAY 11G (THE REVELATIONS OF CHRIST I)

7. Jesus Christ is our Judge.
May God open our eyes to this in Jesus name. 2 Timothy 4:8. Jesus is our righteous judge. I laugh at people who think that to judge sin is being judgmental. You cannot be a spiritual Christian and not be judgmental. Christ was judgmental, he judged unrighteousness, and he judged hypocrisy. You cannot be a mature Christian and be frolicking with sin. People will condemn and criticize you when you judge sin. That is because people do not understand the theology of sin. If you understand what sin is, you will not commit it. Sin is aggressive, it is like cancer. So judge it! The judgment that Jesus Christ will give is a righteous judgment. I called someone and asked, “how would you mark yourself this year in your prayer life, in kingdom service and soul winning?” When we got to that, he could not give me an answer. Since you gave your life to Christ, are you satisfied with your kingdom service?

There is a story of a man of God that died. An angel took him around to see beautiful mansions. He thought that one of those mansions could be his but was surprised that they passed that place to another place which was not as fine as the first place. As they moved further, the angel pointed to an uncompleted building and told him that was his. The man challenged the angel, telling him how long he had been a christian and his accomplishments in the kingdom of God. To him, he deserved a finer mansion but the angel said “this is the much we could do with the materials you kept posting to heaven.” Let us meditate on this. Is this consistent with the bible? Yes. Read 1 Cor 3:11-15 “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.” Fire will determine the quality of your service. Anything you are sending as a Christian is either gold, silver, precious stone or hay, wood, stubble. Everybody’s work will pass through fire. For those sending, hay, wood or stubble (service tainted with works of the flesh), there will be nothing left after the fiery test. What happens when wood passes through fire? it burns to ashes but when gold passes through fire, it shines. Jesus will decorate those that serve him with crowns. There are crowns, and there are rewards in heaven. May you be part of those that will be rewarded bountifully according to your work.

PRAY

  • Lord grant me the grace never to post hay, wood, stubble in the name of Jesus. Please grant me the grace to post gold, silver and precious stones in the name of Jesus. You have gone to prepare a place for me, please prepare me for that place in the name of Jesus. Grant that my heavenly mansion will not be vacant in the name of Jesus. I will celebrate because of your righteous judgment. Father open my eyes to the revelation of Jesus Christ as the righteous judge in the name of Jesus. Thank you mighty God in Jesus name. Amen.
