2020/2021 OPERATION 18-18 DAY 11K (THE REVELATIONS OF CHRIST II)
12. Jesus our sorrow bearer.
Isaiah 53:4, “Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.” He was a man of sorrow acquainted with grief. He took our sorrows away. When He was there on the cross, he nailed our sorrows on the cross. We need not bear any sorrow again. He took sorrows away and brought us joy. We need to go to the cross on a daily basis to exchange our sorrows for his joy. All our sorrows are borne on the cross. We do not need to carry sorrow again. It is with joy we shall draw water from the wells of salvation according to Isaiah 12:3. Anything that is attacking your joy is actually challenging your faith, and your connection to Jesus Christ. You must not allow that. No more sorrow. The Bible says, “ … and sorrow and sighing shall flee away” Isa 35:10b.
Pray –
- Jesus I thank you for taking sorrow away from my life forever. Thank you for taking sorrow away from my family forever. Thank you for giving us joy in place of sorrow. I receive and celebrate your joy. I celebrate your joy and give you all the glory. Thank you for the finished work.
- No more sorrow. No more sighing in the name of Jesus. Thank you for what you have done. I celebrate you.
- O God, let your joy fill my world, let your joy fill my home, let your joy fill Holy Ghost Fellowship International in the name of Jesus. Let the joy of the Lord be our strength. Let the glory of the Lord be revealed day by day in our lives in the name of Jesus.
- Make us carriers of this joy everywhere we go in the name of Jesus. Thank you Jesus, I give you the glory.
