THE CROSS: A SYMBOL OF TOTAL LIBERATION FROM THE LAW V
The crucified life is the bride’s way. We are all called to be in the bride of Christ. There is a preparation of the bride for the bridegroom and the way to be part of it is to ensure that you go to the cross daily. When Apostle Paul got this revelation, he said, ‘I die daily’. He was not referring to physical death when he made this statement. What stirs up sin? The law. What makes sin condemnable? The law. The power of sin is the law behind it. The albatross of sin is the law. 2 Cor. 3:3-10, “Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistles…

THE CROSS: A SYMBOL OF TOTAL LIBERATION FROM THE LAW IV
One of the easiest ways to identify a fake prophet is if he requests for an animal for sacrifice. The cross of Christ remains a comprehensive sacrifice. It was at the cross that sin was crucified. Rom. 6:6-7, “Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin.” It is at the cross that the flesh is crucified. Flesh fuels sin. It is very necessary for us to visit the cross daily because that is where we crucify sin. It is at the cross that flesh…

THE CROSS: A SYMBOL OF TOTAL LIBERATION FROM THE LAW III
John 3:13-16, “And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up. That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” (Read Num. 21:8-9, John 8:28, 12:32). The brazen serpent was pointing at the cross. When man fell, God’s prescription was that blood had to be shed through the slaughtering of an animal and the skin was used to cover the nakedness of man. When man sinned God made a pronouncement against the…

THE CROSS: A SYMBOL OF TOTAL LIBERATION FROM THE LAW II
One of the things we need to do often is to be celebrating what Jesus Christ has done for us; celebrating the victory of the cross and appropriating that victory. One major victory of the cross of Christ, which was delivered to us by Jesus Christ, is total liberation from of the law. Gal. 2:14-17, “But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews? We who were Jews…
